Chapter 133
Chapter 133:
Her brows furrowed with worry as she tried to understand why he was so obsessed with her becoming Luna.
It wasn’t that he had any feelings for her, but his obsession was becoming suspicious.
Silas wasn’t generous; everything he offered came at a steep price.
Whatever the price was, she would deal with it later.
Rosa’s body tensed as the sound of footsteps drew closer, and she immediately recognized the presence of the person approaching.
“I need answers!” Silas demanded, striding toward her, his finger pointed in accusation.
“Good to see you too, Uncle,” she greeted him, masking her anger and nerves.
“I don’t give a damn about your greeting,” he spat, his voice vibrating in her ears. Rosa knew better than to speak as she looked away from him, carefully choosing her words to avoid his fury.
“Why has Damon been visiting the girl so often?” he asked, raising an eyebrow.
Because he is the Alpha King, and the King is free to visit anyone, Rosa screamed in her mind.
“It will be sorted,” she reassured him, but his growls made her hesitant.
“I need answers,” he snapped. “Why isn’t she dead yet? Why aren’t we hearing any good news? You promised.”
“We’ll hear good news soon. Just be patient,” Rosa interrupted, hoping her calming words would placate him.
“Don’t you dare lecture me about patience!” he flared, grabbing her by the collar of her dress and slamming her against the wall.

Rosa winced as pain surged through her head when she was slammed against the wall, but she remained silent. She knew she had to act like a fool to avoid provoking Silas’ bad temper.
“It’s been weeks…” Silas gritted his teeth in frustration before punching the wall hard.
“You know that I’m trying my best, Uncle,” Rosa replied, her voice steady despite the anger building inside.
“Your best isn’t enough if there are no results.” He loosened his grip on her neck, causing her to cough violently. “I tried terminating her last week, but Damon ruined the process,” she hissed, her anger boiling over.
“If you had used your body properly, he wouldn’t have ruined this. You’re not just dumb.”
Rosa’s eyes squeezed shut as his words cut deep.
Not smart?
If she weren’t smart, she would have left the castle by now. If she weren’t smart, their schemes would have been exposed.
Damn him for always ruining her efforts.
“If it weren’t for the fake pregnancy, I would have ended up in the dungeon. I have to be so careful. No one touches the Alpha King’s property except the Alpha King. Not even me, unless he gives permission. I’m just his mistress.”
“You’re a stupid mistress,” Silas sneered. “Why didn’t you frame her? If you’d framed her for something big, no one would have questioned your actions.”
