Chapter 944
The news of Mr. and Mrs. Everhart's brutal murders sent shockwaves through the entire Everhart family. Their collective fury was unleashed, and resources were mobilized globally to hunt down the killer. Gwyneth knew exactly how gruesome Felicia's inevitable end would be, but she felt no pity. The woman deserved whatever hell was coming to her.
Connor stayed faithfully by Leonie's side for days, though she showed no signs of improvement. When his racing crew heard about Leonie's hospitalization, they showed up in droves to pay their respects. One of them immediately noticed Connor had dyed his signature blond hair back to its natural dark shade.
"Connor, you changed your look?" the friend asked in surprise.
Connor shot him a glacial glare. "Focus. Did you find the guy I asked for?"
He had leveraged every underworld connection he had in Greenvale to track down Sully.
One of the guys stepped forward. "Yeah. Some of the boys spotted him hiding out in an abandoned industrial park. We've got him locked down. We're just waiting for you to make the call."
At the mention of Sully, Connor's eyes turned predatory. Sully might not have planned the kidnapping, but he lit the match. He was the only thread that could lead them to Felicia. This woman had put a bullet straight through Mrs. Everhart's chest and executed Dorian point-blank. She had a ruthless reputation in Greenvale's underworld, yet before this, she had never crossed the line into outright massacre. She was just a wealthy wife with a taste for buying handsome men from local clubs.
No one could believe a woman like that would annihilate the Everhart family over a boy toy. It defied logic. Sully himself was probably shell-shocked by the fallout. Felicia had thrown her own life away the second she pulled that trigger.
Connor left a private nurse to watch over Leonie and marched out of the hospital with his crew. A line of cars was waiting at the curb.
"Where is he?" Connor demanded. "Take me to him right now."
He was going to find the woman who ruined the Everharts if it was the last thing he did.
"Don't worry, boss. We've got him tight," one of the men assured him as they piled into the SUV. "The cops are looking for him too, but they don't know we got to him first. If you've got questions, make itfast before word gets out and he ends up in police custody."
Connor slammed the car door shut, his rage threatening to boil over. "Drive."
It took them over an hour to reach the dilapidated warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Inside, Sully was tied securely to a rusted metal chair, a blindfold strapped across his face. He was still trying to act tough.

"Do you idiots have any idea who you're messing with?" Sully barked into the darkness. "I've got people on the inside! The cops don't even. touch me. You'd better untie me right now before make you regret you were ever born you obviously don't know who Sully is in
Greenvale!"

Before he could finish his rant, a heavy boot slammed into his chest. Connor kicked the chair with such explosive force that Sully tipped backward crashing hard against the concrete floor. Connor stepped on the back of Sully's neck, grinding the man's face mercilessly into the filthy cement.
