Chapter 1362

Chapter 1362 The Traitor

"Miss Newton, don't push it too far. You used to rely on being Byron's wife to snatch my position, and

now that I want to resign, are you coming here specifically to humiliate me?" Doran slammed the table

and stood up.

"How dare you slam the table?" Dorian's expression turned fierce.

Doran showed a hint of fear.

Athena raised her hand, signaling Dorian to step back.

Dorian stared at Doran like a hawk eyeing its prey.

Outside the door, a crowd had gathered.

Upon hearing the commotion, their faces changed.

Several young men exchanged glances, immediately pushed the door open, and walked in.

"What are you doing?" Dorian pointed at those people and was about to stop them.

"Let them in." Athena remained composed as she sat at the seat of the president.

"Mrs. Crawford, why won't you let us leave?"

"That's right! We've finished our normal handover of work. Why can't we go?"

"We're just employees at Imbe Group Energy, not slaves!"

The crowd spoke all at once.

Athena looked coldly at them. "What? Do you all think that with my abilities and network, I won't know if

you've joined a new energy team?"

Those who were previously clamoring immediately changed their expressions.

"Are you accusing us again?" Doran quickly responded, "Are you implying that I'm trying to steal Imbe

Group Energy's assets and take them to another company?"

"You summarized it well." Athena looked at him. "Didn't you give away the core data of one of our

products to convince another company?"

This core data was the key information for the project that Imbe Group and the Ross family were

collaborating on.

Currently, due to Byron's missing, the project was temporarily on hold.

If another energy company obtained the core data and completed the project before Imbe Group

Energy, it would result in significant losses for the company.

Additionally, if it was revealed that Imbe Group Energy had leaked the data, the Ross family could

potentially seek compensation from them.

Doran's face finally couldn't maintain its composure.

"Mrs. Crawford, who spread these rumors about us? It's simply slander!"

Athena directly threw a stack of printed chat records in front of him. "In addition to these, there are also

audio and video recordings of your meetings and meals with people from the other company. Should I

release them?"

"You... You had someone follow me?" Doran struggled to find his words.

"If you're willing to make declarations to convince them, others will come to me with theirs," Athena said

coldly.

"What do you want?" Doran asked in a low voice.

"Firstly, when you joined Imbe Group Energy, you signed a contract that includes a two-year non-

compete clause preventing you from working in the same industry and position. I can approve your

resignation, but don't even think about joining another company."

"We can compensate!" Doran sneered, "It's just a breach of contract fee, right? We can pay!"

The other company had mentioned that they would provide compensation if there were any penalties.

Athena remained silent.

She took out her phone and dialed a number.

Soon, the call was answered.

"Ms. Stella? What makes you call me?"

"Matt, do you know that your R&D department poached a second-rate team from Imbe Group Energy?"

Athena's tone was calm.

"What?" A surprised voice came from the other end. "Ms. Stella, we had a cooperative relationship

before. How could I possibly poach people from your company? It must be some people doing this

without telling me!"

"Whether you knew it or not, based on our relationship, I kindly warn you." Athena looked at Doran as

she spoke, "If your company accepts anyone from this team, I will find ways to bankrupt and liquidate

your company."
