Chapter 1407 The Truth

Things didn't happen as Seth had planned.

The night passed, and Byron showed no sign of waking up. Just like the day he was rescued. He fell

into a coma.

The lunchtime, Zora came back from the outside. "Is Alan still unconscious?" She asked worriedly.

Seth shook his head. "I checked. He is fine. How is it going outside? Have those marine biologists

arrived?"

"Yes." Zora nodded irritably. "But I was late. That woman picked them up in advance!"

Seth remembered Athena's face. "Zora, let's leave this matter to the other islanders to deal with it. You

just stay with Alan. Don't go out to confront them again," Seth persuaded.

Zora was unwilling. "Seth, why do you and Mom say the same? You are afraid of her, but I am not!"

"Just do as I say! Don't go to find her!" Seth suddenly became angry. "Why don't you just listen to me?"

Zora shivered in fright. She hugged her arms. "Okay. Give me a reason! As long as you can convince

me, I won't go!" Zora wanted to know why Bertha and Seth suddenly changed their attitudes towards

Imbe Group.

Seth looked at his sister. His breath became heavy.

Seth thought for a while. He gritted his teeth and said, "Now things are out of control. If I keep it from

you, you will cause a disaster you will regret for the rest of your life."

Zora frowned. "Are you and Mom really hiding something from me?"

Seth's face was ashen. His eyelash trembled. "Do you know who that woman is?"

"I know! A tycoon's daughter. A president's wife..."

"She is Alan's wife," Seth interrupted coldly.

Zora was taken aback for a moment. Then she yelled in shock, "Seth, what nonsense are you talking

about? Do you know what you're talking about?"

"Alan's real name is Byron Crawford. He is the son of the Crawford family and the president of Imbe

Group!" Seth said word by word, "One year ago, he was kidnapped in Mailand and fell into the sea. I

rescued him when he was about to die. My original plan was to let him owe me a life-saving favor and

then use this to make him stay and run father's hotel. I never thought that he lost his memory. What's

more, you fell in love with him and lied to him that he was your fiancé, and he believed it..."

"Impossible! You lied to me! I've seen Byron on the news. He is nothing like Alan. Alan is more

handsome than him!" Zora refused to believe it.

Seth said nothing. He took his phone out of his pocket.

Last night, he couldn't fall asleep and browsed his phone. He found some pictures of Byron and

Athena.

Except for those from the early days, it was the high-definition photos of them at Alivia's funeral. There

were also photos of Byron attending various events.

"Look at them!"

Zora's hands were trembling. She flipped through the photos faster and faster.

"They just look similar..." Zora murmured. Athena's condescending appearance flashed in front of her

eyes. She quickly threw the phone away and looked at Seth with tears in her eyes. "Why didn't you tell

me in the first place?!"

"What are you arguing about?" Bertha immediately ran over when she heard the voice of the dispute.

"I told her," Seth said concisely.

"Mom, if I don't tell her, she will keep going to find Mrs. Crawford. Sooner or later, there will be trouble!"
