"Honey, I appreciate that you still choose to be with me," Byron's tone carried a hint of vulnerability.

Athena comforted him. "We made a pact not to linger on those past issues."

Byron gave a vague response.

"It's getting late. Time to sleep!" Athena lightly caressed him again, "I was even thinking about taking

you all nearby for a few days of fun before heading back, but seeing Gideon's state, we should return

sooner."

Athena's benefactor.
