Chapter 1661

Chapter 1661 Whitewashing

After a moment of silence, Nicolas lowered his eyes and asked, "Eleanor, have you ever thought that a

wise person like Athena would she friends with the kind of bad person rumored?"

Eleanor was startled.

She raised her head, looked at Nicolas, and frowned. "What do you mean?"

"Nothing," Nicolas hesitated for a while and finally said, "I just think that if you transfer your resentment

towards her mother to her, it will make you make a wrong judgment!"

"What do you mean I transferred the resentment towards her mother to her? When did I resent such a

lowly person? How bad is Sally's reputation? How many men have she slept with?" said Eleanor.

"What about Gideon?" Nicolas interrupted Eleanor in a deep voice, "You also said before that Gideon

changed his girlfriends too quickly. What about that? Your son's private life can be open, but others

can't?"

"She's a woman! Can that be the same?" Eleanor blurted out.

Nicolas was a clear-headed person. He said, "What's the difference between a man and a woman?

They're both human!"

Just when they were thinking about it, Eleanor's cell phone rang.

She took a look. It was Gideon's cousin, the little girl she liked very much.

After hearing a few words from Nicolas, Eleanor was going to have a heart attack.

She didn't intend to talk with him anymore. She picked up the phone call and asked gently, "What's the

matter?"

"Auntie, something happened!"

"What happened?" Eleanor immediately sat up straight.

"Several media reported just now that Jessica, Sally's half-sister, has been framing Sally and spreading

rumors to tarnish her reputation since Sally was nineteen years old! Auntie, we really misunderstood

Sally. She seems to be not the kind of person..."

"Impossible!" Eleanor stood up and subconsciously denied it.

"It's true. The Patterson family has already asked the lawyer to go through the prosecution process. I

asked Bob's wife and found that the evidence is solid," the cousin said eagerly, "I have another reliable

statement here. Soon the Campbell family will issue a statement to admit this matter, and we will break

up with Jessica!"

"It must be the Patterson family sacrificing the original wife's daughter to whitewash Sally for the sake

of their reputation!" Eleanor still didn't believe it.

There was silence on the other side of the phone.

"Auntie, I know this is appalling. It's only going viral on foreign social media now, but it won't be long

before it reaches domestic social media," Gideon's cousin said in a deep voice, "Try not to let Gideon

see this. I'm afraid he won't be able to bear it."

The words seemed to wake up Eleanor immediately.

"I see!"

"Should I update news to you via WhatsApp?"

Eleanor wanted her not to.

However...

"Yes."

She hung up the phone.

Eleanor sat back on the sofa, looking a little dazed.

Nicolas moved his mouth.
