Chapter 56

Just as we got into the sitting room, the door was closed and locked immediately,

We both arched our brows and just then, seven warriors walked in through a room, the Beta, Gamma and their mates all shifted into their wolf and came out through a room growling,

I stared at each of them wondering what was wrong

Just then, my father walked in clapping his hand,

The warriors also shifted and they all circled us, their gaze on Scarlett who was now shivering in fear as she stared at me for an explanation.

"Jason what is happening??...are they going to kill...me?" She cried with terror in her voice.

"Shift into who you are and fight!" Dad huffed and then it occurred to me what he meant,

He had fallen for my lies, Scarlett isn't my mate and isn't the Dragon wolf, I had lied and now they thought it was Scarlett like I had said...

"What are you saying??... Jason, what is your father talking about?" She asked with a shaky voice as she nudged me to talk,

"Dad, what..." I tried talking but he raised his hand immediately,

"Don't say a word, kill her!!" He ordered and I froze.

"Dad what did you say?" I asked still in shock, this isn't what we concluded, we never said we would be killing her...

"You heard me right, kill her here and now or they will have to do it for you!" He growled more deeply with his countenance having those menacing look,

"Jason, this is a dream right?" Scarlett sobbed holding my arm as she was filled with terror, I guess she had trusted me so much or must have been so blinded by her obsession.

"Get your hands off me!" I huffed wriggling off with my face grim,

She cried and looked around shivering in fear at the furious wolves howling at her with those fangs and dark eyes,

"You can't kill her because she is your mate?" Dad questioned and I sighed, I can't believe dad is this serious about killing my mate, he had just made me bring her into the pack so he would kill her, he didn't accept my plan of using her as bait,

"Dad, I thought we planned on using her as bait, making her be a spy into her pack, she would be bringing information for us, I thought that was what e concluded, why do you want her dead now?" I asked confusedly and he made a croaky laugh which was also heart skipping itself,

Everything about my father is just so scary and I guess Scarlett would faint in fear of he should shift into a wolf in her presence, the size, the fierceness, the howl, the fire that would be in his eyes and how strong and sharp his claws appears, all that is enough to make a wolf froze In horror,

"I didn't fell for your tricks!" He snapped and I frowned feeling angry, it was clear Dad no more trusts me and I can't blame him since he badly wants to take revenge and would never want to fail to defeat Daren,

"Dad, you thought I would foil the plans like you thought I will fall for love instead?" I questioned and he nodded,

"The bond of mate which I saw was too strong, it was so strong that you both are ready to die for each other, I saw it and fear gripped me if I don't kill her, there is no way you will comply, in the end, you will shatter all I planned and desired for, I won't allow that!" He huffed and turned to the Beta whose wolf was more wolf and enraged,

"Hey, little girl, stop acting weak, I already know of your powers, you should use it or die!" He sneered at Scarlett who shivered down to her knee,

"Please don't kill me, please, I never did any wrong to you...I'm sorry if my father wronged you, please I don't want to die.." she kept pleaded with her lips quivering, sweat and tears covered her whole face dropping down to the ground,

I shut my eyes taking a deep breath, my heart was already heavy at the moment and I felt I did the wrong thing, but dad tricked me into believing he agreed not to kill my mate, that was why I brought her here

Now was she going to die??

"Dad, her guards are outside to receive her when she leaves this place, her brother knew I took her home...killing her would cause great havoc, it would cause Alpha Darren to lay ambush on us, can we....'

"Shit up little boy!" Dad cut me off with a killer glare,

"I don't give a damn, as for her bodyguards, their dead bodies are lying on the ground now, what of Alpha Darren knows we killed his daughter???...what then??.. do you think I'm afraid of him?" He sneered with his tone exuding confidence mixed with hate,

"My daddy will wipe out your pack and destroy every single soul here...." Scarlett shrilled and Dad turned to her, he smirked walking closer while she moved her legs back in fear,

Dad caught hold of her hair tightly, he drew it up leaving her face staring at him, "You think your father is capable right??...then watch and see how I destroy him myself!!!" He growled and gave her a heavy punch that landed on her nose,
