“Sounds good!” Lady Wilson nodded in approval. She then smirked, “Didn’t their family think we were finished? I can’t wait to see their faces when they find out we’ve moved into the villa next door.”

Christopher clenched his teeth and said, “That wretched Elaine and Charlie actually worked together to set my wife up. She’s suffered so much because of them. I need to settle the score!”

Hannah quickly interjected, “Are you out of your mind? You can’t bring this up with them.”

“Why not?” Christopher asked, frowning.

Hannah explained, “I was the one who teamed up with Ethel to con Elaine out of her money. We ultimately failed, and Charlie ended up turning the tables on us. Ethel and I were the ones who broke the law first! If this gets out and the police get involved, they’ll certainly arrest me instead!”

Suddenly, Hannah recalled how Ethel had been shot the night before, and she felt a wave of anxiety. “Ethel tried to harm me last night but was killed by the Webb family.
