Lady Wilson was a light sleeper. When she heard some commotion outside, she got out of bed and made her way to the balcony.
Upon peering out, she noticed that Charlie’s house was aglow with lights. A closer look revealed numerous workers busy planting fruits and vegetables for him!
What on earth was going on?
Shouldn’t they display something first before planting vegetables?
What Charlie was doing felt like he was transferring an entire vegetable garden into his yard.
A country bumpkin would always be a country bumpkin. He had such a lovely villa, yet he was ruining its charm by filling it with a mishmash of fruits and vegetables!
If it were her, she would have opted for elegant flowers to enhance the villa’s beauty!
Nonetheless, she noted that the quality of the fruits and vegetables being planted appeared quite good. They seemed to be organic and rather expensive.
With that thought, Lady Wilson began plotting to send Hannah over tomorrow to snag some of those fruits and vegetables.
Meanwhile, Hannah was tossing and turning in bed, unable to find any comfort.
The itchiness had intensified, becoming unbearable.
In desperation, she decided to take a shower to alleviate the discomfort.
While in the bathroom, Hannah was horrified to find red spots appearing on her skin. Fear gripped her.
Panic set in as she anxiously awaited dawn, eager to rush to the hospital at the first light.
The night was a torment for Hannah.
During the first half, she could only lie there restlessly, while the latter half of the night left her unable to lie down at all.
She couldn’t comprehend why her condition had escalated so rapidly.
After browsing the internet on her phone, she discovered recommendations urging anyone with a sexually transmitted disease to avoid seafood and spicy foods.
Regret washed over her as she recalled the seafood hotpot from earlier that evening, where she had chosen a spicy broth.
She vowed never to indulge in either of those foods again.
Worried about the coffee machine and how to sneak it out of the villa without her family noticing, Hannah rose at five in the morning. She quietly slipped into the kitchen and made her way out, coffee machine in hand.
As she passed Charlie’s house, she noticed that the vegetable garden he was preparing for his wife was nearly finished.
Peering through the courtyard fence, Hannah was surprised to see that a large vegetable plot had sprouted overnight in Charlie’s yard. Though taken aback, she brushed it off; her mind was too occupied to focus on anything else at that moment.
After waiting at the entrance of the Thompson First community villa for over an hour, the buyer for the coffee machine finally arrived. The first thing Hannah did upon receiving the money was call a cab to rush her to the People’s Hospital without delay!
