The Amazing son in law Chapter 803
Just as Lady Wilson was about to kneel, Jacob felt a surge of panic and swiftly reached out to prevent her from doing so.
Determined, the elderly lady dropped to her knees anyway, landing squarely on the floor. She figured she would concede first, curious to see if Jacob would truly remain unyielding and show her some compassion.
Unbeknownst to her, Jacob was aligned with Elaine in their thinking.
Despite their rocky relationship and Jacob’s plans to separate from Elaine, both were resolute that Lady Wilson could not stay in the villa with them!
With this conviction, Jacob lifted the old lady gently yet firmly, stating coldly, “Mother, please stop this act of seeking sympathy. No matter what you say, I cannot allow you to reside in this villa!”
Lady Wilson retorted sadly, “Jacob Wilson, you ungrateful wretch! I brought you into this world, you selfish child! How dare you deny me a place to live in such a spacious villa?!”
Jacob nodded, maintaining his stance, “Mother, whether you like it or not, this is the reality. I simply cannot let you stay here!”
“Did you hear that?” Elaine interjected, hands on her hips, “Leave now while we’re being civil, or I’ll call the police to arrest you! At that point, there will be no saving your wrinkled face!”
Lady Wilson sulked and huffed in disdain, “Jacob is my son! My own flesh and blood! He has a duty to support me! I don’t have anywhere else to go, so he must take me in! Starting today, I will live here, and no one can make me leave! Call the police if you wish; I’ll take you to court and claim you abandoned me! Then, the police will arrest you for elder abuse!”
Elaine pointed angrily at the old lady, shouting, “You old hag, trying to act tough, aren’t you? I doubt anyone would dare to arrest me! If you don’t get out right now, I swear I’ll make you regret it!”
With that, she lunged forward, ready to claw at Lady Wilson’s face.
Christopher quickly intervened, exclaiming, “What are you doing? Do you really want to hit an elderly person? I’m recording this!” Check latest chapters at Fɪnd-Novel.net
Harold and Wendy stepped in, encircling Lady Wilson and arguing, “It’s both reasonable and legal for you to support Grandma!”
Jacob stood there, taken aback.
He was unsure how the law typically handled family disputes like this. But it seemed he would be at a disadvantage if the matter escalated to court.
Elaine felt a wave of panic wash over her at the unusual turn of events. If they managed to win the argument and moved in, her idyllic life would come crashing down!
She had just settled into the beautiful villa that very day and hadn’t even had a chance to enjoy a single night there. The prospect of Lady Wilson, that dreadful old woman, moving in was infuriating!
As Jacob and Elaine exchanged worried glances, Charlie stood up and interjected, “While it is my father-in-law’s duty to support you, Grandma, this is my villa, and I’m under no obligation to take care of you!”
Jacob let out a sigh of relief, “Did you hear that? This villa belongs to my son-in-law, not me. I can’t make any decisions here!”
Lady Wilson glared at Charlie, scolding, “Loser, you’ve lived with us for years, so shouldn’t you be supporting me now?”
Charlie smiled lightly, “I have no legal obligation to support you, so I’m sorry, but you need to leave now.”
“I don’t care! You married my granddaughter, so you must provide for me! I’m moving into this villa today, and nobody can stop me or kick me out! I will die here!”
Charlie frowned, clearly annoyed. “You’re trespassing and causing a disturbance. If you don’t leave immediately, I will call the police!”
Lady Wilson sneered defiantly, “Call the police? I’m at my family’s house; why would they arrest me? I wouldn’t even be afraid if God himself showed up!”
