Gena quickly interjected, “Lady Wilson, it’s such a rare chance for you to be in the same cell as this ungrateful brat! If I were you, I wouldn’t want to leave after just fifteen days! I’d want to stay here and beat her five or six times a day to relieve all my pent-up anger!”

Lady Wilson scoffed, “Do you really think I’m foolish? You have no idea how long you’ll be stuck here! How can you possibly make any arrangements for me?”

Elaine responded quickly, “I can write you a letter when you’re about to leave the detention center. You can give it to Claire. Once she knows what’s going on, she’ll definitely let you live in the villa at Thompson First!”

The old lady frowned, hesitating as she considered the proposition. “Are you serious?”

“Absolutely!” Elaine affirmed, nodding vigorously. “You know Claire; she’s a responsible and caring girl. If I ask her, she’ll agree!”

For a moment, the old lady was torn. She harbored intense hatred for Elaine but was equally tempted by the prospect of living in the villa at Thompson First. Lady Wilson was not easily fooled. “Are you trying to play me? What if you refuse to write the letter after I let you off and stop hitting you? Then I’ll be left in a terrible situation!”

Elaine insisted, “I swear I will write you the letter!”
