Daniel’s brow shot up irritably. “Is it too little? I’ll make it fifty.”
The staff member scratched his head, looking conflicted, then turned to the production team and shouted, “Director, Daniel wants to give me money to buy them food.”
Devin grimaced, picking up the loudspeaker and announcing to everyone on the set, “Daniel is trying to bribe the staff to get them food, which is unacceptable. As punishment, he will run three laps around the villa. Let this be a warning to everyone.”
“What the—”
Before Daniel could finish his words, Demi covered his mouth with her hand.
“Calm down, will you? If you argue with Devin, you’ll get more punishment!”
Though Daniel annoyed the hell out of her, he was still her teammate, and she couldn’t let this fool drag her down with him.
Daniel’s face darkened, then he stripped off his shirt, revealing his gym-toned body.
“Just say you guys want a free show of my glorious bod. No need to beat around the bush.”
Everyone turned to him, speechless.
“You want me to run some laps? Then I’ll run some laps! I don’t usually show off my muscles, but today is an exception. Make sure you get this on camera.”
The cameraman assigned to him looked reluctant.
Without another word, Daniel walked out and ran laps around the villa.
Meanwhile, the others were concentrating on their meals.
Aiden and Maggie were enjoying their steaks, while Kenneth, Leonidas, and Carlton had to make do with eggs.
Leonidas toyed with an egg in his hand, his gaze fixed on Janice with undisguised malice.

He had to admit she must be quite something.
After all, Aiden and Kenneth were going out of their way to protect her.
It was a good thing, actually.
It would make things interesting.
Leonidas ran his tongue over his lip, already planning his next scheme.
“I’ll take this if you don’t want to eat it.” Kenneth snatched the egg from Leonidas’ hand.
Leonidas flicked his cold gaze at Kenneth. “Are you fond of taking what isn’t yours?”
“Taking?” Kenneth cracked the egg and peeled off the shell. “I’m just doing you a favor. How is that called taking?”
Leonidas shook his head. “Thanks, but I can’t help wondering if you can easily take Janice from Aiden like that. I can see she has feelings for him.”
Kenneth stopped peeling off the shell and looked up at Leonidas.
With his back to the camera, he stripped off his rehearsed cordial smile and let ire shadow his features. “I might not know the full story, but if you dare harm Janice, I swear I won’t let you get away with it.”
“Is that a warning? What makes you think you can threaten me?”
“I don’t need a set of rules. Let’s just say I like to meddle.” Kenneth snorted coldly, tossing the peeled egg to Carlton. “I suddenly lost my appetite. You can have it.”
