Chapter 110
Sebastian sat on a round table. By his side was Sandra, Alpha Kelvin, and other fallen powerful leaders from different clans and tribes.
Sebastian isn’t one to waste time.
Sebastian had carefully selected each individual—a collection of those he feels have a devious heart like his, people that can go through any length just to achieve what they want, those that care solely about themselves and most of all, those that are filled with hatred and revenge.
“Thank you all for honoring my invitation” Sebastian said, lifting a wine glass to his lips as his eyes moved and scanned everyone seated.
Their eyes held hatred, their souls burned with a desire to reclaim what had been taken from them.
They all followed suit and lifted their wine glasses.
Alpha Kelvin leaned forward, his eyes narrowing. “So, we have all seen your plans and it’s really not an easy one but I love it because it suits exactly to what I have in mind when my pack was destroyed and forcefully taken away from me, leaving me with no choice but to flee” he said, his fist clenched under the table as he fought back the rage he had been holding
The other leaders nodded in agreement, their faces darkened with old wounds.
“That’s why I gathered each and everyone of us here, because we share one common goal-revenge.” Sebastian said with an evil smirk on his lips.
The room remained silent, each leader paying attention to what he had to say.
“Actually, plans have been in motion for a long time, I just needed the right tool and the right people,” he added, leaning closer and looking at their faces.
“Tool?” One of the leaders asked, his brow furrowed.
“Yes,” Sebastian answered smoothly. The right tool to tip this to our advantage. I have found the tool but… the banishment from my brother and people? That was the final push I needed.” Sebastian muttered, his grip tightening on his glass as an evil glint appeared in his eyes.
“So where’s this tool you speak of?” Alpha Kelvin asked.
Sandra’s hands tightened on her glass. Kelvin doesn’t know yet about Ella’s identity and soon it would be revealed.
“You all will get to see her soon,” Sebastian said, leaning back into his seat.
“Her?” Alpha Kelvin asked, raising an eyebrow.
Sebastian nodded, his eyes cold. “Yes, you all must have heard about Valen’s new Mate, it’s not a news that he has been mated to a werewolf”
Alpha Kelvin spilled the drink in his mouth in shock. “Wait a moment, Lord Valen is mated to a werewolf? Wow, that’s a surprise, I have never heard of it, but hold on… I heard he captured a werewolf healer, don’t tell me…”
“Yes, she turned out to be his soulmate.” Sebastian completed.
“So how does she help us? Where does she come in? And where exactly is she? Another impatient rival vampire leader demanded.
“One question at a time Theodore,” Sebastian said.
“Well the questions are necessary Sebastian, we need to know what we are getting at here” Another vampire leader muttered. Sebastian heaved a sigh. He understands their emotions but he only needed them to achieve his plans not to share Ella’s power with them. He wasn’t going to tell them the truth about Ella’s importance to this mission.
“Well coming to your questions Theodore, she would be of great help to us because she’s Valen’s mate and we all know having a mate is a weakness” Sebastian said.
“So what are you trying to say?” Theodore asked, folding his arms and leaning back on his seat.
“The plan to capture her is already in motion. Now imagine what it would seem like to have Valen’s weakness in our hands.” Sebastian sipped on his wine glass, his brow raised and an evil grin spread wide across his face as he took in the reactions of both the werewolf leaders and the vampire leaders seated by his sides who had been cast away badly just like himself.
Murmurs and whispers echoed in the room.
Sebastian winked at Sandra who had been quietly seated with a still expression all this while.
Sandra wasn’t happy with the fact that Sebastian had formed allies with Kelvin, but Sebastian doesn’t care about her emotions either, for all he knows, she’s the one responsible for the mess he found himself and he’s willing to go any mile to seek revenge for being humiliated and very soon everything would belong to him, as it should have been from the beginning.
He needed Kelvin for the success of capturing Ella, he had been her fiance for three years and he’s sure there are things Ella might have told him that Sandra doesn’t know about and he intends to use every information.
“And how do you expect to get past Valen’s tight security and capture his supposed weakness?” Theodore asked, his tone dripping with skepticism.
Sebastian smirked, his eyes glinting. “He wouldn’t see it coming, in fact she would come here on her own accord, everyone knows her as Valen’s mate and fear for Valen would stop them from restricting her movement. She wouldn’t be forcefully taken from his territory, don’t worry, I don’t need any more trouble as much as you all don’t, until I have what I need in my hands.”
“I see you have it all figured out, so how do we come in?” A werewolf rogue leader asked.
“Good question,” Sebastian replied. “Valen is very powerful and he’s surrounded with people of great powers which is why I haven’t been able to take him down all these years,” Sebastian paused as he looked at them.
“A battle isn’t fought by one person alone, I need you all my brothers, for this war to be victorious. It wouldn’t be like anything they have seen, take a look at your situation Alpha Kelvin, they have been chasing after you since the destruction of your pack, they wouldn’t expect you to return with an army” his eyes locked on each leader. “And the same goes for all of you seated here” Sebastian said pointing at them all.
Murmurs and whispers of agreement erupted in the room.
“We might have come from different clans and tribes,” Sebastian declared. But with one goal binding us, we are brothers. And together, we would use this war to bring everyone that has offended us to their knees and recover all that should have been ours” Sebastian said, hitting the nail of conviction into their hearts.
Loud growls immediately erupted. Their collective rage filled the space like a dark storm cloud.
Sebastian’s dark eyes gleamed brightly as he nodded in satisfaction.
Soon dear brother, very soon and everything would be over.
