Chapter 338
Chapter 338:
Voligny Company was owned by the Morgan family and founded by Robert, with financial backing from Fernanda’s mother.
What started as a small workshop making basic skincare products eventually grew into a sizable enterprise, thanks to significant investments from Fernanda’s maternal family, which enabled Robert to expand the business. Robert’s journey from a financially struggling young man to a millionaire had been a source of inspiration for many.
The Morgan family’s fortunes rose with the company’s success, but tragically, Fernanda’s mother, the true architect behind its prosperity, never enjoyed the fruits of her efforts.
Reflecting on this, a shadow of sorrow passed over Fernanda’s eyes. She was well aware of why Robert had demanded her return; Cristian had relayed the situation to her earlier that day.
Bloom Group, a sizable enterprise with numerous artists on its roster, heavily relied on Voligny Company for skincare and cosmetic supplies, marking them as a key business ally.
The abrupt end of their collaboration had struck a severe blow to Voligny Company.
As a result, Robert’s outrage was expected.
As Fernanda neared the Morgan family villa, Robert’s thriving voice could be heard resonating from an open window.
With calm resolve, she advanced to the door and rang the bell.
Ector, who answered the door, looked visibly distressed.
“Fernanda, why did you return?” he hissed in a hushed tone. “Dad is outraged right now. Why would you come back now? Please, just leave. I’ll manage things here.”
Fernanda remained steadfast, unfazed.
Leave? As if departure would solve anything. Given Robert’s nature, escaping would only enrage him.
“Is Fernanda here?” Robert barked from inside. “Tell her to come in here immediately!”

Ector opened his mouth to respond, but Fernanda gently nudged him aside and walked in.
The once extravagantly decorated living room was now in complete chaos. Papers were strewn across the floor, cushions lay carelessly tossed on the sofa, chairs in the dining area were overturned, and broken glass fragments were scattered everywhere, glinting in the light as they reflected Robert’s furious face.
“Dad,” Fernanda said evenly. “What seems to be the problem?”
Her calm demeanor aggravated Robert’s fury, like fuel to a flame.
“What’s the problem? You have the nerve to ask?” Robert exploded, his face flushing a deep red as he snatched a stack of papers from the coffee table and hurled them towards Fernanda. “Have a look at this!”
Fernanda barely acknowledged the papers. “Oh, that? Isn’t it just the cancellation notice from Bloom Group? What’s there to really look at?”
Her apparent indifference, despite the serious implications, infuriated Robert to the brink. In a blind rage, he grabbed a belt from the sofa and swung it at her.
Ector intervened with a desperate shout, “Dad, stop!”
Fernanda stood still. Ector moved to shield her.
