Chapter 623
Chapter 623:
Well, the lifestyles of the wealthy seemed quite strange to him.
They pulled up outside an office building.
Developed by the same firm that built Bright Lights Media across the street, this structure was notably close.
Fernanda had secured the entire tenth floor, which had been recently renovated.
The e-sports area was meticulously organized, with over a dozen cutting-edge computers. Next to this was a lounge with a large fridge, comfortable sofas, and a bar counter.
The streaming section was split into fourteen separate rooms.
“Wow, Fernanda, this setup is incredible!” Clement exclaimed, his eyes gleaming. “Is this our new home?”
“This is your workplace, not a home,” Fernanda said with a grin. “You’ll manage my team and streamers here, and you’ll also be involved in recruiting new talent. You know the high standards I expect, don’t you?”
“Absolutely,” Clement said, nodding enthusiastically. “Only the best for you, I get it.”
Fernanda then guided Clement and the others to their new apartment, located just behind the office. The apartment was generously sized, boasting four bedrooms and two living rooms, and was fully furnished.
Overwhelmed by the gesture, Clement embraced Fernanda, tears streaming down his face, though his cries were more dramatic than heartfelt.
Cristian had to yank him back by the collar before Clement finally released Fernanda.
That evening, Fernanda escorted them to Zero Degree to reunite with Leon.
Leon was thrilled to see them again. He had developed a strong bond with the group back in Zhota, treating them like family.
Leon had been gravely injured when Fernanda first encountered him. She took him in, and it was Clement who looked after him the most, forging a deep connection between the two.

Their reunion was filled with emotion and excitement. Before long, everyone except Fernanda had enjoyed quite a few drinks. She sat among them, the only person not affected by alcohol.
Leaning over the table, Leon fondly switched between calling her “boss,” “Fernanda,” and playfully slurring her name as he reminisced about the past.
Clement, after throwing up, said, “I’m just scared that now that Fernanda has a boyfriend, she might not look out for us like before… leaving us lonely and pitiful here in Esaham.”
Clement, truly distressed this time, wept on Leon’s shoulder.
His hair was wildly disheveled.
“What boyfriend? Fernanda doesn’t have one…” Leon tried to reassure Clement, smoothing down his messy hair. “She ended her engagement; she’s single now…”
“That’s not true!” Clement protested, visibly distressed. “Her boyfriend picked us up this morning! He was in a ridiculously fancy car with gullwing doors!”
Leon, struggling to focus, turned to Fernanda. “Boss, when did you start seeing someone?”
“Oh, it’s just recently,” Fernanda responded casually. “I’ll introduce him to you soon.”
But in her mind, Fernanda thought Leon should have already been familiar with someone like Cristian.
