There was a hint of relief in the first voice.
The man paused, then let out another sigh.
“Too bad it didn’t work out, hopefully Mr. Vasquez won’t be mad when he finds out.”
Another person smirked slyly
“It’s not easy being a virgin, Mr. Vasquez had a blast, if she really was a virgin. I’m afraid she wouldn’t be able to handle it.”

Roderick and Quinn heard this, already guessed that the woman they were talking about was Andrea, a flash of fierceness in their eyes, veins bulging on the back of their hands.

“She was brought up by two men from Marblemont, and they kept her locked in the basement, probably planning to sell her.”
“We hadn’t even gone to see the person yet, and the woman came running up to us on her own, saving us the trouble and earning us some extra money.”
When they heard this, their eyes instantly turned cold and fierce.
Quinn’s hand holding the dagger was bulging with blue veins, he wanted to rush up and tear those two apart right away.

The footsteps gradually faded away.
Roderick turned to look at Quinn, looking serious.
“They said the Marblemont girl they were talking about was Andie.”
The auction house was dead silent, only the faint sound of waves coming through the window, adding to the gloom.

Time felt especially long at that moment, Roderick was leaning against the wall, struggling to catch his breath.
He stared at the smile on Andrea’s face on the phone screensaver, it was taken under the cherry blossom tree.
The girl had two ponytails and a big smile on her face.

After finding out Andrea’s location, Roderick struggled to get up despite his injuries.
