Bye My Stepbrother 3

He had always been protective of his privacy, and she was the

only one who could touch his phone.

It was pretty obvious why he had changed his password.

Looking at him, she thought, “He holds me in his arms even

when he’s asleep. If in the past, I would’ve totally thought he

was crazy in love with me.

“It must have been so tiring, pretending that he loves me for so

long.

“But he’ll soon be free.”

Not knowing what his new password was, she could only stuff his phone back under the pillow and think of something else.

The next day.

Roderick left Andrea’s room early in the morning so that Lucian wouldn’t notice anything.

After learning about Roderick’s secret last night, she made a

plan to leave, and her first step was to meet with an agent about transferring her flower shop.

Chapter 3.

The agent was already there when she arrived.

Upon seeing her, the agent quickly stood up and shook her

hand. “Hello, Ms. Rehbein.”

Andrea shook hands with her.

“Hi. I’m the owner of this shop, and it’s like my baby. I wouldn’t

sell it if I didn’t have to. Now that I have to leave as soon as

possible, I hope you can help me find the right buyer. We can

always talk about the price.””

“For sure, Ms. Rehbein. I promise I’ll find you the person who

takes it the same seriously.

Her flower shop was in a prime location, and she had been

running it well. She was sure the agent would find her a buyer

soon.

The agent soon assessed the shop’s value and told her an

estimated price. After they agreed on the details, the agent left.

Though Andrea had already made up her mind to transfer the

flower shop, she still couldn’t help but feel a pang of reluctance

as she looked around at every bouquet.

The shop was her source of income. More importantly, it held

countless precious memories.

In the early stage, Roderick had helped her with everything,

including moving stock and promoting the shop. Later on, this

had become one of their go–to date spots. Even now, those sweet

moments they had spent together were still vivid in her mind.

She smiled self–depreciatingly.

The so–called sweet moments were nothing but a fantasy he

crafted for her.

It was time to wake up.

As she was about to leave, a woman pushed the door open and

entered.

The woman wore exquisite makeup and a pair of high heels,

exuding an air that was exclusive to pampered socialites.

She walked straight to the counter, gave Andrea an once–over,

and then curved her lips.

“I wanna order a bouquet for my boyfriend.”

Andrea braced herself.

She introduced, “Hello. Feel free to look around–these are all our

signature arrangements. They’re pretty, and each comes with

its unique, romantic meaning. They’re perfect for couples. I’m

sure at least one of them is to your liking.”

However, the woman didn’t even glance at the bouquets at all.

She stared at Andrea, seeming a bit surprised. “You really don’t

know who I am?”

Noticing the baffled expression on Andrea’s face, the woman

met Andrea’s gaze and smiled.

“I’m Matilda Turner, Roderick’s girlfriend.”

“Roderick’s girlfriend?”

Andrea was dumbfounded.

Meanwhile, Matilda continued, “It’s been two months since we

got engaged.

“You don’t know?”

Andrea froze entirely.

She remembered. Two months ago, Roderick had told her that

he needed to be out of town for business for a while.

Little did she know that getting engaged was his so–called

business.
