Chapter 110
"What the hell is this bastard up to..." Vincent muttered, his face darkening as he stared at his phone screen-the call still unreachable. His jaw tightened, veins bulging at his temple. Seeing the hint of panic flash across Williams Gravesend's face, Vincent quickly straightened his expression.
"Master Williams, don't worry. His phone probably died—simple as that," Vincent said with forced calm, though his knuckles whitened from clenching his fist.
But before Williams could respond, the heavy doors to the executive suite slid open.
The room fell into stunned silence.
"Father!" A clear voice called out.
Everyone's eyes snapped toward the door as Fate-very much alive, unscathed, and radiant—ran in and threw herself into Anthony Scarface's arms.
Vincent's eyes widened, his pupils trembling with disbelief. "Impossible..." His voice came out in a cracked whisper as cold sweat formed on his brow.
Williams's face drained of color. "What the-? How... How did you get here?!" His voice trembled with barely concealed fury.
Anthony's hardened expression melted into rare relief as he wrapped his arms tightly around his daughter. "Fate... You're safe." His voice cracked for a moment, and his usual unshakable aura faltered.
"I'm okay, Father. And it's all thanks to him..." Fate's voice softened as she stepped aside, revealing Jaden walking in casually behind her.
Jaden's sharp eyes swept across the office, settling on Williams with a smirk curling his lips. "Williams Gravesend... looks like we meet again." His tone was calm, but laced with lethal mockery. "And this time... let's talk about a different kind of deal."
Williams's eyes bulged in disbelief. His hand trembled as he pointed at Jaden, his lips quivering with suppressed rage. "How...? You were supposed to be dead. Cooper... that useless bastard..." His face twisted with humiliation. “I ordered him to shoot you on sight!"
Anthony's sharp gaze narrowed, recognizing Jaden instantly. The same young man who wiped out Baron... and Peter... A slow, calculating smile crept onto Anthony's lips.
"So, turns out the enemy of my enemy... is quite the capable ally." Anthony's mind raced, piecing the situation together swiftly.
Jaden kept his eyes locked on Williams, his smirk deepening. "It's disappointing when your plans crumble so easily isn't it? He tilted his head slightly enjoying every second of Williams's unraveling composure.
Anthony patted Jaden's shoulder firmly, his tone warm but layered with hidden meaning. "Young man, I owe you my gratitude. You saved my daughter... and
embarrassed this snake in the same day. I'm impressed."
Turning to Williams, Anthony couldn't resist twisting the knife. "Looks like your little plan backfired Gravesend, his smile was pure provocation. "But no hard feelings. You staying for dinner? We can celebrate your... failure."
The veins in Williams's neck bulged with fury. His lips curled into a snarl, but his voice dripped with
calm Don't be too eager to mock me, Anthony. You might find yourself crawling on your knees, begging me for mercy again."
Williams snapped his fingers. "Vincent."
Vincent, still seething from shock, clenched his fists. His eyes gleamed with murderous intent as he bowed his head slightly. "Yes, Master."
Without hesitation, Vincent launched forward, his body blurring with speed, his fist drawn back, aimed straight for Fate. His expression was ice cold-ruthless, unforgiving.
Williams sneered, arms folded. "See, Anthony? You laughed when I lost my son, my heir... Let's see how funny you find it when your precious daughter takes her last breath."
The air seemed to freeze in that instant.
But just as Vincent's fist rocketed toward Fate―
Jaden stepped in. Fast. Effortless. His hand moved like a ghost, pulling Fate gently aside, his other fist intercepting Vincent's blow with precise force.
BOOM!
The impact of their fists echoed through the office like a cannon blast. The floor beneath Vincent cracked as he stumbled back, his heels scraping across the marble. His eyes widened in shock.
Jaden stood rooted, completely unfazed, a low chuckle escaping his lips. His gaze was sharp, predatory. "Your core strength... Not bad." His voice was calm, but dangerous.
Vincent's pupils contracted as realization struck him—this wasn't some random street kid. He was facing a monster.
