Chapter 1020
The dream had left her feeling uneasy all morning.
"Joanna, are you okay?" Maxwell asked, holding her steady.
Joanna shook her head. "I'm fine. Let's go."
Alexander blocked their way. "Joanna, Mr. Griffith, you can't leave. You have to help me get my company back."
Joanna roared in frustration, "Alexander, if you want your company back, go find your biological father! I can't help you."
"Joanna..."
Joanna and Maxwell quickly walked out.
Alexander was dumbfounded. Joanna just... left like that?!
She wasn't going to help her own brother?
“Joanna, are you really not going to help me?"
Joanna turned, her eyes cold as she looked at him. "Alexander, you're not cut out for running a company. You only know how to throw money at problems. You only know how to enjoy life, partying every night with two women in your arms. That's your life. With that attitude, no matter how much money I give you, you'll still be a lost cause."
Alexander started to cry. "Sob... you..... Joanna, I'm your brother! How can you look down on me like this?"
Joanna didn't even bother to respond. She just turned and left.

At the hospital.
Wendy was chatting with Jerome.
She had also heard about what happened at the Griffith Group.
It was only today that she learned about the agreement Mr. Griffith Sr. had made Sebastian sign.
And to be with Joanna, Sebastian had really given everything to Natalie.
That was something she had never imagined in her wildest dreams.
"Mom, is Natalie capable of being the CEO of the Griffith Group?" Jerome's mood had improved significantly after his surgery.
Wendy nodded. "Jerome, believe in
your sister! She is very talented; we just overlooked her abilities. I havez
people on the inside, and they'vent
reported back that your sister will be working with Herbert, the surgeon who operated on you, to develop an intelligent medical system. This project will shock the world. We just have to wait for the good news."
Wendy held another secret, one about Natalie. When Natalie was strong enough, she would tell her herself.
Jerome also hoped Natalie could support the entire Griffith Group.
Sebastian was inhuman. For Joanna, he had truly abandoned the entire Griffith Group!
"Mom, I really don't understand Sebastian. Joanna is so vicious, yet he's willing to give up his entire fortune to be with her."
Wendy gave a cold, dismissive laugh. "Sebastian might be beneath Natalie, but he's exactly what a woman like Joanna deserves."
Just then, Wendy received a call from Colin.
She was delighted. "Colin."
Colin said, "Mom, we've acquired Alexander's company."
Wendy replied, "That's wonderful, Colin. For now, you and Lindsay stay there and make sure to build that company up."
"Even though Alexander is useless,
the company was managed by a professional manager and has a solid foundation. It could go public in less than a year."
Colin was very moved. "Mom, thank you for giving me this chance. Thank you for giving me time to grow!"
Colin's voice was choked with emotion. If a person doesn't hit rock bottom at least once, it's truly difficult to grow.
Wendy's eyes welled with tears.
"Colin, you have your sister to thank
for all this. At Joanna's birthday party, it was your sister who told me
the truth, allowing our family to turn the tables. But it's not time to reveal aurselves yet. You and your brothers must be patient and follow my arrangements."
