Chapter 1074
"In the fashion design world, she'll only make money this one time. She won't get another chance after this."
"Yes, yes, I'll wait!" Luna said happily. "Natalie, this Kobe beef steak was specially prepared for you by Mr. Hayes. You should eat more."
Natalie looked at the steak before her, grateful for Dominic Hayes's thoughtfulness.
She picked up her knife and fork, cut a piece, and put it in her mouth. It tasted wonderful.
Luna sat down and said, "Natalie, why is Emily here, too?"
Natalie had also seen Emily and frowned slightly. "It's fine. She's also part of the plan. I'm just waiting for her to make a move. But before she does, those two suckers, Julian and Adrian, will be finished before us."
"Once Joanna swallows up their two companies, and our side continues to grow, it will be too late for her to turn around and deal with me."
"After all, she may be a schemer, but we're not idiots who will just stand here and wait for her to attack us."
"Joanna is busy with the Wilson family matters she just took over. Mr. Wilson's company was snatched by Nathan, so things at their house are going to be very lively for the next few days."
Natalie couldn't help but laugh. "God... this steak is incredible!"
"Luna, you should eat too. It won't taste as good when it gets cold."
Luna smiled, picked up her utensils, and took a bite of steak. It was incredibly fragrant.
"Wow! Natalie, Mr. Hayes is so thoughtful. This is the best Kobe beef steak." Luna loved it. Her low-carb dinner for the night was a real treat.
Unlike her Natalie, she gained weight easily and had to be careful about what she
ate.
The two of them were enjoying their dinner happily, not noticing Julian at the door.
Julian's hand, about to push the door open, froze in mid-air. What had he just heard?
Joanna was planning to scheme against his company?
How was that possible?
Julian thought of the Wilson family and a wave of fear washed over him.
He glanced at Natalie, who was eating with her head down, a beautiful smile on her face. Seeing her like this, he suddenly felt like he was looking at a stranger.
Natalie had just said that he and Marshall were different, that he was a born Scoundrel.
He had a bad impression of Natalie, and in her mind, he wasn't any better. He was a bad guy in her eyes.
He had heard about what happened with Marshall but hadn't paid it much mind.
But now, listening carefully to what Natalie and Luna were saying, he felt a surge of anxiety.
Joanna had schemed against Marshall, the Wilson family, and several other smaller companies before that. He had thought it was just her business acumen.
But now he realized the truth.
Joanna had gotten close to Mr.
Wilson because she had saved his
granddaughter earning his trust
only to turn around and swallow his company.
He had also heard that Mr. Wilson had fallen ill.
He had suspected that Joanna's intentions weren't pure, but his heart, long swayed
by her, refused to believe that Joanna could be so ruthless.
Julian spun around and left abruptly. No, he couldn't let Joanna trick him. His company had only reached its
current status through its
se
partnership with Sebastian
He turned and hadn't taken more than a few steps before he ran into Joanna and
Maxwell Griffith.
"Joanna, Sebastian, let's eat

together, Julian said, narrowing his eyes and shedding his usual playboy demeanor. He wanted to get a good look at Joanna's true face.
He had been warned by Natalie before, but because he looked down on her as
some country bumpkin, he hadn't taken her words seriously.
When Joanna saw him here, her expression darkened slightly. Hadn't he gone to cause trouble for Natalie?
