Chapter 1086
Jonathan was going to be the death of him with his greed!
"Go find Chloe directly. Give her the best possible offer to sign with our company. Her designs are outstanding, and she's bound to become a huge star. In the world of jewelry design, she'll be truly exceptional."
Horace replied, "Understood, Ms. Scott. I'll try to contact her first thing in the morning."
After Joanna hung up, she glanced around but didn't see Maxwell Griffith.
She frowned. Where did he go?
He had been gone for a while.
Joanna stood up, grabbed her phone, and went to look for him.

The next day was New Year's Eve.
Natalie woke up early and called her grandfather and three older brothers to wish them well.
But Carlson still wasn't speaking to her.
However, he did send her some money.
Natalie was so happy she could cry. Carlson was finally willing to acknowledge her again.
Sending her money meant he had forgiven her.
Overjoyed, Natalie cried as she limped to the window and shouted, "Thank you!"
The only reply was the biting wind.
But Natalie was still ecstatic. Cradling her phone, she sent Carlson a series of affectionate emojis.
Carlson: [When did you get so sappy? So dramatic.]
Natalie felt a pang of sadness when she saw the message. When had she ever been dramatic?
That jerk of a brother. She was done with him.
Natalie huffily sent back an angry emoji. With her brothers, she could be as playful and petulant as she wanted.
All three of them were willing to dote on her and love her.
Natalie saw that Carlson hadn't replied.
She wasn't annoyed. She sat on the sofa and sent a message to her grandfather.
[Grandpa, when are you coming back?]
Her grandfather sent a voice message back. "Sweetheart, I'll be back in April. I met with Mr. Griffith St We're starting a company here to support you."
Natalie was surprised. Mr. Griffith Sr.-Sebastian's grandfather!
Natalie was curious. [Grandpa, Sebastian and I are divorced. I don't want any more ties to the Griffith family.]
The old man's voice message came back, full of cheerful laughter. "Such a hyponte. You already took all his assets. Natty, that as a pretty sweet divorce. Must have felt amazing, huh?"
Natalie was speechless.
She wanted to cry.
Her grandfather called her a hypocrite?!
She was living as her truest self.
Since her rebirth, her only goal was to live authentically.
Natalie tossed her phone aside. She was mad at her grandfather now.
She stood up and limped downstairs. It was New Year's Eve, and she had no idea where Sebastian and Sean had disappeared to.
Sebastian only gave her the company because he was injured.
Natalie was angry with herself. Why was she still worrying about Sebastian at a time like this?
Luna, Keith, Tyler, and Ethan were busy in the kitchen.
Natalie was delighted. Besides Luna, the other three handsome men were all excellent cooks.
She was in for a real feast tonight.
Yes!
Natalie walked down happily, watching them.
"Wow! With you three handsome chefs making New Year's Eve dinner tonight, I'm
definitely going to eat until I burst."
Keith, Tyler, and Ethan all smiled.
"As long as you like it, Natalie. We're
making alt your favorites-spicy lobster grilled calamari. We've got a full spread tonight-everything from fresh seafood to prime cuts of meat."
Natalie smiled and sat down on the sofa. As the patient, she didn't have to do a
thing.
Luna looked at Natalie with concern. "Natalie, do you think Sean and the others will have a good New Year's celebration tonight?"
