“Mr. Sloan.” His voice was low, carrying an oppressive weight that allowed no argument. “I think Leilani has already made herself very clear. She wishes to have no further ties with the Sloan family. Please cooperate with her to legally terminate your parent-daughter relationship.”

The atmosphere at the wedding was already chaotic. But when Callahan’s figure appeared, everyone’s attention was instantly magnetized.

The man was dressed in a sharply tailored black suit. His expression was cold, his gaze piercing, and his presence was so commanding that people unconsciously held their breath.

‘Isn’t that Callahan Langley?”

Why would Callahan be here? And what was his relationship with Leilani? Callahan had originally intended to listen to Leilani, waiting outside for ner to finish her business before taking her home. But after waiting for quite some time, he saw the bride being carried out, yet Leilani hadn’t emerged. Worried that the Sloan family was bullying her again, he gnored her previous request and came inside.

Seeing Callahan, Hackett was momentarily stunned.

Recovering quickly, he plastered a sycophantic smile on his face and stepped forward to greet him. “Mr. Langley! What brings you here? A rare guest indeed!”

Zadie also rushed over, her tone filled with flattery. “Are you here for Tamara and Milford’s wedding? Your presence brings such honor to our humble gathering!”

Hackett and Zadie tacitly pretended they were meeting Callahan for the first time. They were still hoping to build a connection with him.

But Callahan didn’t even spare them a glance. He stood by Leilani’s side,

his cold gaze sweeping over the Sloan family members. “I didn’t come for the wedding. I just wanted to see exactly how shameless the Sloan family could be.”

His voice wasn’t loud, yet every word was distinct, filled with undeniable

pressure.

The smile on Hackett’s face froze instantly. “… Mr. Langley, what do you mean by that?”

Callahan let out a cold laugh. “I know everything you did to Leilani. Four years ago, you forced Leilani to take the fall for Tamara, sending her to prison for four years. Now that the truth is out, you still want to play dumb?”

He looked coldly at each member of the Sloan family, his voice low and dangerous.

“Since you enjoy harboring a criminal so much, you should be aware that harboring a fugitive carries its own legal liabilities. I suggest you have Tamara surrender to the police immediately and accept the same punishment Leilani endured. Otherwise, I will file a motion with the court to reopen the case and investigate everything thoroughly.”

“And you all…” His eyes were sharp as blades as he enunciated slowly. “…can wait to join Tamara in prison.”

Hackett’s face went pale. “Mr. Langley! That case was closed years ago. You can’t just invert black and white because you say so…”

“Closed?” Callahan sneered. “You fabricated evidence and coerced a confession. Do you really think a case like that can’t be overturned? I have reason to suspect you bribed the judge back then. Otherwise, how could the case have been closed so hastily without proper evidence?”

Callahan’s words struck home. Clive, however, found his confident, superior attitude incredibly irritating. He couldn’t help but retort. “Mr. Langley, you know you shouldn’t speak nonsense without evidence. We all know how serious corruption allegations are these days.”
