“Don’t cry!”

Alpha Henry was a little flustered. He originally thought she would be happy after a confession like that. Why was she crying?
“I’m not!” Aubrey stubbornly shook her head, glaring at him. “It’s just my eyes… my eyes suddenly feel uncomfortable!”
It was such a poor lie. Alpha Henry thought for a moment but chose not to expose it. He gave a helpless smile, lowered his head, and gently blew a puff of air on her eyes.
“…Does it feel a little better now?”
But his casual action only made countless crystal–clear tears suddenly stream from Aubrey’s eyes, spilling down one after another like pearls from a broken string!
Alpha Henry was instantly flustered and at a complete loss! He had only blown a puff of air!
Aubrey gave Alpha Henry a push with her right hand and once again flopped onto the pillow, bursting into tears. It was real crying—a cathartic, child–like wail, as if trying to vent all her grievances.
“Why did
you blow on them!”
Aubrey’s choked, fierce voice rang out. “You blew on them and made my eyes hurt more!”
Alpha Henry was stunned for a long moment before he began to coax her, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
“Yes, yes, yes. It’s all my fault. I shouldn’t have blown on them. I made your eyes uncomfortable. It’s all
my fault.”
This soft, unassertive, almost spineless tone… in the past, Alpha Henry would never have believed he could say such things. But because it was her, it all seemed to come naturally.
He carefully reached out and patted her shoulder.
“Stop crying, okay? My heart aches when you cry. If you’re angry, upset, or unhappy, just hit
me…”
Aubrey, her head buried in the pillow, heard him say this and kicked him!

Alpha Henry immediately let out an exaggerated cry of pain and promptly “fell” to the floor.
Hearing the thud, Aubrey tilted her head slightly to look. The white pillow covered most of her face, revealing only one red, glistening eye peeking out. She looked wronged, pitiful, and completely wary!
Alpha Henry had originally planned to feign pain, but seeing her look over, he couldn’t resist pouncing from the floor onto the bed like a wolf pouncing on its prey!
“What are you looking at? Worried I hurt myself falling? Is my little baby finally learning to feel bad for me?”
Aubrey indignantly hid her face again and shouted, “Why didn’t you just fall and die?!”
Alpha Henry laughed shamelessly. “How could I die? If I died, you wouldn’t have a mate, would you? I couldn’t bear that…”
Aubrey cursed him fiercely in her heart and despised herself. Why did I cry? His words weren’t even that moving! Something must be wrong with my body, my tear ducts must be broken!
At this thought, she roughly wiped away her tears, but kept her back to him, unwilling to let Alpha Henry see. Seeing her showing him her backside, Alpha Henry tirelessly hopped from one side of the bed to the other.
When Aubrey saw him move closer, she turned her body to the other side to avoid looking at him. Alpha Henry quickly hopped back again.
Why is this person so annoying?!
Aubrey finally sat up. I’ve already cried, and he’s already seen it, so what’s the point of hiding?
Seeing that Aubrey had finally stopped hiding and was glaring at him, her eyes and nose still red from crying… if not for the situation, he really wanted to pull her into his arms and tease her!
His shamelessness and complete obedience left Aubrey feeling helpless and at a loss.
