This remark was like a thunderclap, and the scene completely erupted.

All the gazes that had been sympathizing with Trent and his wife, and denouncing the Alpha, instantly turned complex, then suspicious, and finally filled with contempt. Parents who abused their children never earned respect.
Trent trembled under the lashing of countless gazes, able only to roar with false bravado, “She’s our child, it’s our business how we treat her! What does that have to do with you killing her?”
“You’re just saying all this to stall for time for Aubrey, aren’t you? Has she already run away?”
Seeing his shameless expression, Alpha Henry’s gaze turned cold. He said no more. A powerful Alpha pressure, like an invisible mountain, slammed down on Trent alone.
“Urgh!”
Instantly, Trent’s knees gave out. He collapsed heavily to the ground with a thud, as if pinned by an invisible giant hand. His breathing became labored, his eyes bulging slightly from the lack of oxygen.
“What is the truth? Speak!” Alpha Henry roared. Trent was terrified, his face draining of all color.
Just as Trent was about to suffocate, Alpha Henry released the pressure. He lay limp on the ground, gasping for air. But before he could recover, Alpha Henry unleashed the pressure again, and he was once more plunged into a state of near suffocation.
After this repeated only three times, faced with absolute power and the fear of death, Trent’s defenses completely shattered. He finally broke and confessed in a trembling voice.
He said he had received a large sum of money and instructions from a mysterious person. The other party demanded he find a way to force his daughter Nina to “commit suicide” in her hospital ward. Once the deed was done, they would pay him another one million as a final payment.
After confessing everything, Trent seemed to have given up all pretense. He raised his head, his face a twisted mask of lingering fear and bizarre self–righteousness. He rasped, “One… one worthless Omega’s life in exchange for one and a half million. If you had the choice, wouldn’t you agree?!”
His words caused another uproar. Disbelief and utter disgust were plain on everyone’s faces.

That someone could be so cold–blooded as to personally push their own child to death for
money.
After the truth was revealed, Alpha Henry had the soldiers arrest them and take them to prison. The poor girl was already dead. What awaited them was the harshest condemnation, both legal and moral.
As the matter settled and silence fell, someone suddenly asked weakly, “Alpha, it’s only half an hour until six. The three–day deadline is almost up. But we still haven’t seen Aubrey. She… she didn’t secretly run away, did she?”
Alpha Henry glanced at the person, his voice indifferent, yet it sent an inexplicable chill down the spine. “There’s still half an hour. What’s the hurry?”
After his remark, no one else dared to speak.
The sky began to lighten. The winter dawn was cold. They hadn’t felt it when emotions were running high, but now, this last half hour seemed to stretch on endlessly.
“What a lively scene.”
A group of people slowly approached. Alpha Henry looked alert and greeted the leader, “Alpha Louis.” (This is a respectful address for the Alpha King.)
The werewolves present burst into an uproar!
It was the Alpha King!
The Alpha King had actually come in person!
“Henry, is everything handled?” Alpha Louis asked after surveying the scene.
Alpha Henry nodded. “It’s handled. Just a small matter.”
Alpha Louis couldn’t help but show an appreciative look. Henry was young, but his ability to handle things was truly impeccable. If Henry were his son, he would undoubtedly choose him as the next Alpha King.
“Good that it’s handled. Seeing as the time is almost up, I came to join the excitement. Who knows, perhaps I’ll get to witness a miracle?” Alpha Louis smiled.
