Isolde plugged in the drive and put on her headset.

The screen flashed red. Processing.
Claire glanced at her watch. “It’s going to crash. You overloaded the buffer.”
Isolde didn’t look at her. She stared at the progress bar.

Isolde slumped back in her chair, breathing in shallow gasps. Her shirt clung to her back. Her right hand was cramping.
She turned to Claire.
“Done,” Isolde whispered. “Anything else?”
Claire stared at the monitor. Her mouth opened, but no sound came out.
