Hayes was initially stunned, then clenched his teeth in anger. Was Ashton mocking him for not being a real man? Ashton had only gained entry to this yacht through his influence, and now this guy dared to show off in front of him. Darkness flickered in Hayes’ gaze.

Without delay, Hayes reached for his walkie-talkie to summon his bodyguard. As the bodyguard entered the cabin, the crowd let out a collective gasp. The bodyguard stood over 6.5 feet tall, his muscles rock-hard and seemingly incredibly powerful.
The onlookers quickly moved aside to create a clear path for him. Everyone understood that angering this man could result in a severe blow.
Hayes saw his bodyguard approaching. He pointed at Ashton and mockingly commanded, “Go entertain him. Show him what humility truly looks like!”
Seizing the moment, Hayes turned to Ashton with a smug expression. “Ashton, is it? If you’re having doubts, it’s better to apologize and take back your words now. If you don’t and end up tasting the bitterness of total defeat, you can only blame yourself for the humiliation.”
When Ashton saw that Hayes had arranged such a formidable opponent for him, he remained unfazed. Casually positioning himself at the square table, he waited for his opponent to sit and prepare.

Although Rosalie felt unsure about Ashton’s chances of winning, her faith in his abilities grew as he confidently accepted the challenge. She responded with a simple, reassuring smile, choosing not to engage in the argument.
