The reason he’s close to Rosalie is that Rosalie’s sister happens to be his student.”

Hearing this, Jacoby let out a sigh of relief.

In his mind, Ashton had always carried himself with a confidence that suggested a powerful background, perhaps even more powerful than his own family. But now, learning that Ashton was just a simple man who relied on Rosalie’s wealth, Jacoby felt his tension ease considerably.

After a brief discussion in the office, they decided to waste no time and rushed to the entrance of Inewood University, intending to secretly observe Ashton and catch him off guard.

As luck would have it, not long after their arrival, they spotted Ashton and Selena walking out of the school together, laughing and chatting as if they hadn’t a care in the world. After bidding each other farewell, they each got into their respective cars.

Jacoby and Briley were elated by the opportunity and quickly began tailing Ashton’s car.

However, to avoid being noticed, they maintained a cautious distance.

Seeing that Ashton entered a mall on a bustling commercial street, they lingered near the entrance for a while before continuing their search for any sign of Ashton there.

Their careful efforts paid off, as Ashton didn’t seem to notice the two shady characters trailing him.

After parking his car in the underground lot, Ashton entered the mall and found a well-known jewelry store in Inewood, intending to purchase a gift.
