Chapter 476
Chapter 476:
Ellis immediately stood up, walked to Keira, and slapped her twice. “Shut up! Don’t get me into trouble. Get out of here.”
Keira was too stunned to react. She didn’t expect Ellis to slap her, not only once but twice.
When she came to her senses, she burst into tears and stormed out of the lounge in a huff.
At that moment, a white-haired young man was about to enter the lounge. The two of them bumped into each other.
Ashton’s eyes narrowed. Even if he didn’t see the white-haired young man’s face clearly, he instantly recognized him.
The unexpected visitor was Jacoby.
Ellis’ loud shout and the sound of a slap were audible to Jacoby outside the lounge. So, when he accidentally collided with Keira as he walked in, he quickly pulled her into his arms.
While Keira might not have been as striking as the Campbell family sisters, she was certainly beautiful.
Jacoby feigned concern as he dabbed at Keira’s tears. He then shot a mocking look at Ellis and said, “Long time no see, Ellis. Seems you’ve grown bolder, huh? How can you justify hitting such a beautiful woman?”
Ellis was stunned by Jacoby’s sudden entrance. Confronted with Jacoby’s taunting, Ellis became visibly uncomfortable and quickly inquired, “Mr. Marquez, what brings you here unannounced? Is there something you…”
With a dismissive snort, Jacoby turned to Ashton, who was observing the altercation. He said angrily, “How dare you ask what I want? It’s well-known there’s bad blood between our Sup Group and Skyline Group. We’re holding a grudge against Ashton here in particular. Where did you get the courage to allow him to shoot some silly promotional video in your studio?”
This infuriated Jacoby. Despite Beal’s advice to keep calm, Jacoby couldn’t let go of his pride. This was particularly true after a recent incident with Kirsten, which had made Sup Group the butt of jokes. Jacoby didn’t care whether Ashton was directly involved; he was eager to vent his frustration on him.

Back in Inewood, he wasn’t in a position to make a scene, so Jacoby restrained himself. But this was Staville—Marquez family turf. Since when did Ashton get to strut around here? Jacoby simply couldn’t stand this affront!
Realizing Jacoby’s aggressive stance, Ellis understood he was deliberately stirring up trouble.
Nonetheless, with Ashton by his side and knowing Ashton’s formidable background, Ellis quickly made a decision.
“This is the Byrd family’s studio. What right do you have to interfere here? Do you think you can control what I do? Leave now; your presence isn’t wanted here!” Ellis responded coldly.
Jacoby’s face darkened. “Don’t forget your past efforts to ingratiate yourself with me!” he retorted.
Now firmly on Ashton’s side, Ellis didn’t mince words. “That was back when I was younger and easily intimidated by you. Looking at it now, the Marquez family and Sup Group aren’t all that impressive!”
