Chapter 478
Chapter 478:
Henry wasn’t boasting without merit. Next to Henry, Ashton, standing at about six feet, appeared significantly smaller.
The disparity in their builds was stark.
Even Selena, who usually had unwavering faith in Ashton, doubted his chances of victory.
With a stern expression, Ashton warned Jacoby and Keira, “Both of you step back. Be careful not to get caught in the crossfire.”
The disdain in Henry’s eyes deepened as he taunted, “You seemed so confident earlier. Are you frightened now, knowing you can’t best me?”
It was the first time Jacoby had seen Ashton this serious, and it excited him.
Although hiring this famed sumo wrestler from Wokoku had nearly drained all his discretionary funds, Jacoby believed it would be worth every cent if it meant he could exact revenge and bring Ashton down.
But then, Ashton chuckled and said, “I was just teasing you. I’m more concerned about accidentally harming them when I take you down.”
Momentarily taken aback, Henry snapped, “You fool, prepare to meet your end!”
With that, Henry stamped his foot, causing the floor to tremble, and charged at Ashton with full force. Despite the ferocity of the attack, Ashton remained unflustered, his demeanor cool and collected.
As Henry’s massive form bore down on him, Ashton nimbly sidestepped, evading the charge with graceful agility.
Caught off guard, Henry quickly whirled around to renew his assault.
Ashton, however, was not one to merely defend; as Henry clumsily turned, Ashton had already mustered his strength.

The moment Henry faced him again, Ashton delivered a precise kick to his chest, sending ripples through the layers of Henry’s flesh.
Weighing over three hundred pounds, Henry was only forced back half a step by Ashton’s powerful kick, yet it was enough to leave him gasping for air.
With his employer watching, Henry couldn’t afford to display any sign of weakness.
Struggling to maintain his composure, he forced a laugh and patted his chest. “I thought you were formidable, but you’re merely a weakling. Let’s fight again!”
Jacoby, deceived by Henry’s act, believed Ashton to be genuinely feeble. He clapped and jeered, hurling insults to further provoke Ashton.
Even Keira, who had initially thought to flee, was drawn back into the fray, cheering Henry on.
“Ashton, you pathetic poser! You can only bully the weak! Now you’ve met a real powerhouse, and you can’t even make him take a step back with all your strength!” Jacoby mocked.
“Come on, Henry! This coward just dared to bully me; he deserves to be crushed by you!” Keira exclaimed.
Their taunts seemed to slide off Ashton effortlessly. Instead, he appeared mildly surprised that Henry hadn’t fallen after his powerful kick.
