Alisha, standing beside Ashton, sighed in frustration, rubbing her temples in exasperation. She shot him an irritated look.
“What did I tell you earlier?” she groaned. “I warned you not to pick a fight with anyone here, and now you’ve gone and ticked off the Marquez family! The Sup Group is one of the fastest-growing enterprises in Staville. That’s why my father invited them. You’ve put a target on your back, and your company could suffer for it!”
Ashton glanced at her, his lips curling into a faint, amused smile. It was clear she didn’t know about the deep-seated rivalry brewing between Skyline Group and Sup Group.
Despite her obliviousness, Ashton could tell Alisha’s concern was genuine.

He instructed her to analyze the information and begin monitoring all communication signals within the hotel. Egan’s cryptic threats had set off alarm bells in Ashton’s mind.

Luther, still absorbed in his own bragging, noticed Alisha approaching and instantly perked up.
