Chapter 595:

Fraser was mid-tirade against Ashton when Rosalie finally answered his call. He immediately put his phone on speakerphone to let everyone, including Ashton, hear her voice. However, Rosalie’s tone on the other end of the line was apparently dismissive and cold. “Fraser, what’s up? I’m busy right now. If there’s nothing important, I’m hanging up.”

A trace of embarrassment flashed across Fraser’s face. But when he thought of what was about to happen, he smiled smugly and said, “Rosalie, don’t hang up yet. I know you are busy, but I have bad news for you. It can’t wait. Didn’t you leave things in Staville to Ashton to return to Inewood for the museum project? Now that you’re not here, you must know that this man is running wild. He is even hooking up with another woman.”

Rosalie was shocked by Fraser’s words, but she quickly regained her composure. She had seen Fraser’s true colors, so she wouldn’t believe him at all.

She replied coldly, “Fraser, I know you dislike Ashton. But do you really have to resort to such petty schemes to drive a wedge between him and me?”

Fraser immediately understood that Rosalie didn’t believe him. He became anxious. “Rosalie, I’m not driving a wedge between you. I’m telling the truth. He’s right in front of me. If you don’t believe me, hang up and call him yourself.”

“Oh, yeah? So, who’s the woman he is with right now?” Rosalie sneered coldly.

Before Fraser could respond, Abrial chimed in, “Rosalie, it’s me, Abrial.”

As soon as Rosalie heard Abrial’s voice, she chuckled. “Hi, Abrial. It turns out to be you. You really surprised me.”

Then, Rosalie said to Fraser casually, “Thanks for telling me about this matter, Fraser. But I’m aware of what is going on between Abrial and Ashton. And I’ve approved it. If there’s nothing else, I’ll hang up now.”

After saying this, Rosalie ended the call before Fraser could react.

Ashton, who had been silent the entire time, was still confused by Rosalie’s words. Suddenly, he felt Abrial hold his arm. Then, they walked past Fraser and toward the grand conference hall of the hotel, leaving Fraser standing there, bewildered and unable to react to what had just happened.

Fraser finally snapped out of his reverie, jolted back to reality by the realization that the bidding event was already underway.

His expression darkened as he stepped into the conference hall, scanning for a place to sit. Coincidentally, he found himself in the same row as Ashton.

Despite the earlier incident, Ashton seemed unaffected, with Abrial still clinging to his arm.

The sight deepened Fraser’s disdain for him.

Fraser was now wholly convinced that Ashton must have manipulated Rosalie with some nefarious means—how else could she, the esteemed eldest daughter of the influential Campbell family of Inewood, stoop so low as to share her affections?

The mere thought of Ashton being with Rosalie ignited a furious desire in Fraser to see him destroyed.

Yet as his initial rage simmered down, a cold resolve took its place.

Regardless of how Ashton had won Rosalie’s affections, things would change today.
