"Speak," Tristan Lycan ordered in a cool tone.

Flynn told him a summarized version of his history with Jack. He made sure to highlight Jack's evil deeds and how he had interfered in Flynn's love life.

Tristan let out a condescending chuckle after Flynn was done speaking. "You can't even handle someone who's just a small-time celebrity?"

Flynn quickly explained himself, "I might have to expend more effort if I want to

get rid of him. Besides, I know that you enjoy having absolute power over somebody else's fate."

Even though Soul was only an up-and-coming idol currently, his impact in the scene could not be underestimated.

While it would be troublesome for Flynn to deal with Jack, the same couldn't be said for Tristan. It would be as easy as breathing for Tristan if he decided to involve himself.

Tristan waved him off carelessly. While Tristan gave off the impression of being nonchalant, Flynn knew better. He knew that Tristan had agreed to his request. He was so overjoyed that he nearly fell to the ground to kiss Tristan's shoes in thanks.

However, as the fans were enjoying themselves in the visceral feelings that Soul's new song evoked, an invisible foe with malicious intentions towards Soul had begun to make his move.

It could be due to his popularity, or it could be out of jealousy, but the amount of negative articles about Soul had started to increase rapidly.

The article had everything-addresses, profiles, and even photographs. It looked professionally put together, which made it difficult for people to doubt its credibility. Even though Soul had never shown his face in public, his figure on stage was a familiar sight to most. The person in the photograph and the image of Soul on stage looked very similar. It could even be said that they were both almost 90% similar.

It didn't help that there were people out there who were more than willing to add oil onto the flame.

The internet was in chaos the moment the news broke. The scandal rose to the top spot on Google's trending topics chart within the first 24 hours.

The article was swiftly and heavily discredited by Soul's fanclub. They insisted that Soul was pure of heart and would never commit such heinous acts.
