"I'm busy," Jack coldly replied, heading toward his dorm.

With gritted teeth, Jack turned around and said, "What's the matter? Are you robbing me?"

Tears swirled in Emily's eyes. Her voice cracked into a plea. "Darling, I mean well. I only want to talk to you for a short while. Considering that I just helped you, can you do this as a favor? Please?"
