Bella's face went pale, and she was stunned. She couldn't believe that Jack, the man she'd dumped, was with another girl, and a good-looking one at that. The secluded path and their solitude made others assume they were a couple.

Jack met Bella's gaze, finding within it a labyrinth of emotions. It was as if her eyes held secrets he couldn't unravel. But soon, Gigi pulled Bella away.

As Bella's figure faded into the distance, a soft sigh escaped Jack's lips.

Amelia had noticed Bella and was aware of her history with Jack. Their breakup had caused a stir on campus. That said, she was shocked by the coldness she noticed between them.

She asked tentatively, "You... and Bella-have broken up, right?"

Jack smiled wryly. "We were never in a relationship to begin with, so there was no breakup."

Amelia thought about it and realized he was right, feeling a spark of joy in her heart.

A blush crept across Amelia's cheeks as she shyly asked, "Can we study together again tomorrow? Besides language, I'm taking other courses too. I could use your help if I don't understand anything."

"Of course," Jack agreed readily.

Amelia's eyes lit up with surprise. "So I'll see you tomorrow, okay?"

As Jack returned to the dorm, he found Luca alone, practicing his singing.

Seeing Jack return, Luca quickly showed him a song that had been composed for him by a renowned musician.

Jack noticed that the quality of music Luca was presented with had improved significantly. Luca's impressive performance at the Youth Vocal Showcase attracted several prominent composers. They were now keen to support this promising young talent.

Jack was satisfied with the composition, but he shared some pointers with Luca about the lyrics. As per usual, Luca was grateful for Jack's insights.

In half a month, the Calisota Youth Vocal Showcase would take place at the Alnewgo University Opera House.
