Chapter 107
Chapter 107:
“Yes, Amira is the only threat this child will face in the future, that is, if she lets him come into this world. She is a desperate woman, and desperate people are capable of anything. They don’t mind taking the life of an innocent child. It’s time you take her out of your way. You’re going to be a mother, and you should eliminate whatever stands in his path,” I said.
“I really want to destroy her, but I don’t know how to go about it. She isn’t ready to leave my man, and she would do anything to take my child even before he’s born. I won’t let her have her way. She’s someone who doesn’t belong in this world, and she’s only fortunate to be here. But it’s time to take her out forever,” she said.
This is exactly what I wanted, and she would make my work easier.
“What do we do, or better still, what do I do?” she asked.
“Poison her food.”
Mr. Mico’s POV
I woke up earlier than usual, already prepared to head to the hospital. For some strange reason, I had a feeling that today I would finally get a clue about how my daughter went missing. I felt like today was the day.
If a nurse was acting strange at the hospital, it meant something had been going on there for some time. I had decided not to sue the hospital when our daughter went missing years ago, as Vivienne had advised against it, but now I was ready to take action.
“Don’t worry, Dad is with us, and I’m sure everything will be sorted out today,” Tristan said.
“Who is in charge of this?” I asked the receptionist as soon as we arrived at the hospital.
“Good morning, Alpha Mico. Our senior doctor is presently in his office. Would you like to see him?” she asked with a smile.
“Yes, take us to him this minute,” I ordered impatiently.

“I will, but sir, do you know this lady here, or did she tag along with you just to get in here?” she asked, glaring at Emily.
“She is my daughter. What do you mean by ‘tagged along with me’?” I asked.
“I’m sorry, sir. Please, come this way,” she said, leading us.
“Mr. Mico,” the doctor called, bowing in surprise.
“I’m glad you still recognize me, just as much as I recognize you,” I said, making myself comfortable while the children stared at me in surprise.
“Do you know him?” they asked simultaneously.
“Yes, I do. I have very bad memories with this man standing right here and this hospital in general, but I think it’s time to forget the past and move forward.”
“My daughter went missing here in this hospital, all thanks to their negligence. And now, after so many years, we’ve crossed paths with another huge case.”
“What do you mean, Alpha? I understand that my staff and I are to blame for everything that happened years ago, but what other case do you have with me?” he asked.
“This young lady here is my adopted daughter. She was abandoned in a refuse dump near this hospital, and she found one of your nurses suspicious—the nurse who died recently. She happens to be the same nurse who was in charge of my daughter’s care back then,” I said.
