Chapter 129
Chapter 129:
“Emi,” I heard Tristan’s voice from outside, and I reluctantly opened the door for him to come in.
“How are you feeling now?” he asked, looking worried.
“Am I supposed to feel good when I don’t know where my son is or how he’s doing wherever he is? I can’t be fine as long as he’s out there. So that question is one I have no answer to,” I said.
“Well, you won’t find him if you continue like this. You’re a strong woman, not a weak one. Christian is working hard to find him, but you chose to stay here and cry instead. Be strong, Emily. You’re more than this,” he encouraged.
“I know, but I don’t know where to start or who to suspect. I’m so confused,” I replied.
“I understand that, and that’s why you need to work together with Christian to find him. You are both his parents, and you’re both responsible for his safety.”
“But he won’t forgive me. He’s angry because I kept it a secret from him. I doubt he’ll ever forgive me for this. He only found out about his son when he was kidnapped. I didn’t want him to find out this way, but it happened unexpectedly.”
“And that’s even more reason why you should brace yourself and act like the fierce girl I saw at first,” my dad said, walking in.
“You’ve cried enough and beaten yourself up over the mistake that’s already been made. Now, you have to get up and find him.”
“I got lucky that you found me, but that luck might not last, which is why you need to do what you do best and find my grandson. You have everyone in this mansion, as well as myself, to help you in this quest of yours, but you’re taking too long. Don’t be like your mother, who did nothing but cry. And I’m glad Christian isn’t like me, who also sat without doing anything.”
“Since he found out about Dylan, he has conducted a thorough search within and outside this pack. The only way I believe he can forgive you is if you join him in finding Dylan,” he added.

They’re actually right. No matter how angry he is, he still loves me, and I’m sure he will forgive me. I’m the mother of his child, after all. The goal here is to search for our son, and I’ll do whatever it takes, as his mother, to achieve that goal.
I’m leaving for the Moonlight Pack right now. I immediately got to my feet and headed straight to the Predator’s Pack—they would be of great help to me.
I’ll conduct my search within this pack and the neighboring one as well, and I won’t rest until my son is found.
“You should keep us in the loop no matter what, and we’ll be here to go through the CCTV footage in the mansion and any other hidden footage in the pack,” Tristan said.
