“Nothing like that will happen, Sheela. Christian now belongs to you, whether he likes it or not. Just give him a little time to get over his heartbreak. Once he is done beating himself up, you will get married to him. But if he doesn’t do that within the space of a month, I will make him do it. So you don’t have to worry about anything. This is a settled deal as long as you are pregnant with his child.” He assured.

“Thank you, Dad. This wouldn’t have happened if you hadn’t intervened from the very beginning.” I said.

Everything would go even more smoothly if that cursed girl doesn’t show her face here anymore. She should remain with her people now that Christian is taken.

Luna Vivienne’s POV

I walked into Sheela’s room to see her having a discussion with her father. She was smiling the entire time, and I was glad Mr. Gotham was also happy.

“Thanks for coming over, Mr. Gotham,” I said, walking towards them.

“Yeah, so I heard your son kicked my daughter’s things out of his room,” Mr. Gotham said.

“You know how kids these days are. He’s just being foolish, but I ask that you give him a little time to get over his little obsession with that cursed girl.”

“The so-called cursed girl has caused my daughter nothing but pain and delay, and I hate her even more for that.”

“But I just received good news this evening. My daughter is pregnant with my grandson, so I will be lenient with her and everyone else.”

“As for the marriage, I will only be patient for a month. Once the month runs out, I want them to get married, no matter what. I don’t care if he’s hurt or not, because I don’t want my grandson to be born out of wedlock. I’m sure you understand that,” he said.

“That won’t be a problem either. It will be easier now that she is expecting his pup and the next heir of the Moonlight Pack. He has to do the needful,” I assured him.

“If that’s settled, I will take my leave now, but make sure my daughter is well taken care of. I don’t want her lacking anything, so provide her with whatever she wants.”

“I’ve always done that, and there won’t be a problem in doing that now that she’s pregnant with my grandson. I will definitely do whatever she wants, anytime she wants it.”

“Then I will take my leave so you women can have your discussion,” he said before taking his leave.

“What happened, Sheela? How did you suddenly become so…” I asked curiously as soon as her father left.

“I wanted to tell you before you left here in anger. I was feeling a bit weird a few weeks after that incident, so as soon as you left, I had one of the maids who had a child come here. All I did was ask her about the symptoms of pregnancy. I was lucky enough when she told me she could check to see if I was pregnant. So, I had a quick check-up, and discovered that I’m with child.” She explained with a smile.

I’m glad she was able to stop the mess before it actually happened.

Amira’s POV

It’s been two days since my supposed engagement to Christian turned into pregnancy news. It all happened so quickly, and I chose to remain indoors to clear my head. I’m glad I’m all good now, back on my feet.
