The next morning, she went to the studio and hired several workers to restore it to its original state, then she called Megan.
Megan answered, but her voice sounded weak.
“Yolanda.”
“What’s wrong?”
Megan covered her mouth, tears streaming down her face. “It’s nothing, just some pain in my body. I’ll be fine after a few days of rest.”
Yolanda sighed in relief and comforted her, “You don’t need to come to the studio these days. Ian’s new TV series is about to air, and we’ll be busy soon. Take care of yourself, or you won’t keep up with the schedule. Megan, I have to remind you again: divorce your husband as soon as possible. He’ll only hold you back like this.”
“I know.”
After saying this, Megan hesitated, as if she had more to say.
But she said nothing and hung up the phone.
Yolanda sat in front of her office computer, browsing through profiles of forgotten talents in the entertainment industry to find hidden gems. Once Ian became famous, she planned to bring these hidden gems into her studio.
But after seeing a promising talent like Ian, other prospects just seemed a bit lacking.
Her fingers swiped the mouse, and suddenly a breaking news alert popped up.
It was from Elara Aster, claiming she was threatened with a knife by a talent’s manager.
She even shared a photo of the scar on her cheek, which looked quite frightening.
Yolanda’s expression darkened immediately as she saw that the post had over ten thousand comments, all asking who the attacker was.
Elara hesitantly revealed that the talent was in the same production crew as her.
Netizens quickly dug up the crew she was in and flooded Simone’s Twitter with comments.
Simone had already warned Elara, but Elara still didn’t listen.

She called Elara Aster, who refused to answer and was focused on posting on Twitter, hinting that someone in the crew was protecting that talent.
The public reaction became even more exaggerated.
This was malicious harm, especially since Elara Aster is a second–tier star. That scar looked so terrible, calling it disfigurement wouldn’t be an exaggeration.
Simone couldn’t get through by phone and angrily threw her phone onto the coffee table.
What exactly was going on? She had been a director in the entertainment industry for so long and had clearly warned Elara Aster. Why would Elara suddenly go crazy?

Ian’s latest Twitter post was slammed with over 100,000 comments and quickly topped the trending list.
Even though his fans worked hard to explain below, saying Ian isn’t that kind of person.
But their numbers were just too few to make any waves.
Even the director of the soon–to–air show called Yolanda.
The show is about to launch, and now with Ian’s scandal blowing up this big, Elara Aster’s fans are already threatening to boycott the show. This is not a good sign.
Zack White spoke seriously, “Tessa, if this doesn’t get resolved, we’ll have no choice but to cut all his scenes overnight.”
Yolanda scrolled through the online comments, calm in her eyes. “Zack, give me five days to turn this around. Consider it free publicity.”
Zack frowned, his rational side telling him not to trust Yolanda.
But he also knew this woman had some serious skills.

He took a deep breath. “Okay, five days then. This show airs in a week, and I’m under a lot of pressure myself. Tessa, although we’ve had our differences, we’re in the same boat now. If the show doesn’t air, I’ll be caught up in the mess too.”
Director Zack tried to get close to her before, but she fought back using Charles as leverage.
“I know.”
After hanging up, Yolanda immediately drove to the filming location where Ian was working.
The crew had moved downtown, quite close to her studio.
Ian seemed unaware of what had happened. He had a lot of scenes today and was performing with great focus. He portrayed the role very well.
But the staff around were whispering. Even if he was slow to catch on, he knew something was
wrong.
By the time filming wrapped up, it was already 3 p.m.
He went to the dressing room to change, and Yolanda followed him in.
“Ian, have you checked Twitter?”
He tugged at the hem of his clothes and asked in a deep voice, “Is this Elara Aster?”
Yolanda was surprised by his sharp perception.
“Yeah, there’s a lot of hate online. Don’t go online these days.”
“Got it.”
He had already changed his clothes and walked straight to her side, though keeping a meter’s distance.
“Ms. Grant, I finished my scenes today. Can you take me home?”
She nodded and mentioned Megan while they were in the car.
But lan clearly wasn’t paying attention. He asked, “Whose car is this?”
That’s when Yolanda realized it was Leo’s car.
She had used it for two days, and Leo, stingy as ever, apparently hadn’t called her once.
“A friend.”

After saying this, she said no more. She saw Ian fiddling with his phone through the rearview mirror.
When they arrived, his mood was low.
“Did you check Twitter?”
He tugged at the corner of his mouth and lowered his eyelashes. “So many people tagged me. I couldn’t help myself.”
Yolanda snatched his phone, cupped his face, and said, “I’ll handle this. Rest assured, if I dared to do that back then, I wouldn’t have left any real evidence.”
