Amelia lifted Demi’s wrist and scammed it lightly with her phone. Instantly, a list of details popped up on

the screen.

She smiled faimly. “See that? Demi’s Cartier bracelet is real. That’s why it shows up in the systern.”

“You b

Vivian’s face turned pale. She felt humiliated but couldn’t argue back.

Deep down, she knew Amelia was right. When she’d removed her necklace earlier, she’d noticed a small chip on the surface.

Everyone froze. Latest content published on f͟i͟n͟d͟n͟o͟v͟e͟l͟.net

Vivian wearing fake jewelry?

It was an explosive news.

Gianna, terrified of offending Vivian, quickly jumped in. “Amelia, stop talking nonsense and apologize to Vivian.”

This bitch has no idea what kind of event this is; how dare she run her mouth here?

Amelia only smiled. “Relax. Isn’t this supposed to be an appraisal event?”

Her sharp gaze shifted to the socialite who had first provoked her. “Your crocodile–skin bag–the pattern’s too uniform. Real crocodile leather has more natural texture.”

Then she turned to Belinda’s watch. “The spacing between the Patek Philippe letters is wider than the authentic one.”

Each time she pointed something out as fake, another socialite’s face turned ashen.

The entire table fell silent. Only Amelia’s calm, clear voice echoed through the air.

“So you call yourself a socialite?” she mocked coolly. “Just a bunch of people flashing fake designer goods to look rich. Well, I have to admit, I’ve really learned something new tonight.”

Those women faces darkened with embarrassment. No one dared to make a sound.

Everyone feared they might be next to be named by Amelia.

Amelia had a natural gift for identifying jewelry and luxury items.

These women had no idea what they were walking into.

They ran right into Amelia’s line of fire–serves them right for embarrassing themselves.

Belinda was shaking with rage and shame. “Amelia, who do you think you are? What gives you the right to judge us? What do you even know?”

Chapter 52 The Truth Hurts

Amelia looked innocent. Is it wrong to tell the truth? There are professional appraisers here. Why don’t we let them take a look?”

The atmosphere instantly froze.

Everyone stared at Amelia, but no one dared to speak.

Each woman sat stillly, terrified she’d be the next one Amelia called out and exposed.

Gianna, meanwhile, was on the verge of losing it. Her heart twisted with regret to ask Amelia to join them. She was a walking disaster.

By calling out everyone’s fakes, she had just offended all of them.

And since everyone knew Gianna and Amelia were sisters, she’d definitely get caught in the crossfire.

Gianna stomped her heel in frustration and rushed to grab Amelia’s wrist, whispering sharply. “Are you insane? You’ve just offended all of them! How am I supposed to show my face in the elite society now?”

After all, she was the one who invited Amelia to sit at this table.

Now it looked like she had done it on purpose to make everyone else look bad.

Amelia gently pulled her hand free and smiled faintly, her tone calm but sharp. “Gianna, why so nervous? Oh, right—I almost forgot to appraise your jewelry.”

Before she even finished, Gianna’s face turned pale. Her hand flew to her diamond earrings in panic.

That tiny movement didn’t escape Amelia’s eyes.

She gave a light chuckle, then reached out and tugged Gianna’s hand down. “Come on, let’s see what kind of nice jewelry you’re wearing today.”

“Hey! Stop this!” Gianna’s voice trembled as she tried to pull her hand away.

Amelia looked perfectly calm. “The refraction doesn’t look right,” she said softly. “This diamond–should actually be moissanite.”

Her eyes widened in fake surprise. “Oh, you like wearing imitation jewelry too? Well, I guess the saying’s true, birds of a feather flock together.”

The whole table went silent, then erupted in shock.

Gasps and whispers spread like wildfire. Gianna felt dizzy, her ears buzzing.

Her carefully crafted image of an elegant socialite collapsed in an instant.

“T–That’s not true,” she stammered, her voice shaking. “Amelia’s making it up! She doesn’t know anything about jewelry or luxury goods. Don’t believe her!”

Vivian snorted. “Gianna, we only tolerated that crazy woman because of you. But honestly, you should stay away from her before she drags you down and you embarrass yourself.”

Gianna’s face burned with humiliation. She forced out a shaky apology. “I’m sorry, everyone”

Damn, Amelia! This bitch had completely ruined my reputation.

Amelia looked at the group of pretentious socialites with cold indifference. Fake people defending fake jewels –what a perfect match.

“Alright, let’s move on,” someone in the crowd said quickly, eager to change the subject. “The auction’s

about to start.”

Finally, the main event of the night began.

The auctioneer stepped forward and announced, “Our first item tonight is a vase from the Renaissance period!”

The crowd buzzed with excitement. Everyone was eager to bid.

Demi leaned closer and whispered, “Amelia, what do you think?”

“Fake,” Amelia replied without even lifting her eyes. “The real one would have a mute tone. This one’s too bright.”

Demi rolled her eyes. “Ugh, they really don’t know what they’re talking about.”

Amelia nodded slightly, amused. People like this are so easy to fool.

Sure enough, someone eagerly bid for the vase and paid a ridiculous amount for the fake.

Amelia didn’t say a word. After all, it was a charity auction.

She kept her mouth shut, since this wasn’t her problem.
