Chapter 1082

Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess · Dana E.

Josefina turned around, her smile as radiant as a sunny morning. "Make sure to lock up when you head out, okay?"

Oliver and Josefina set off together.

Austin suddenly remembered something. "Isn't he the guy who pulled up in a fancy car at the school gate? Everyone's been saying Josefina's off the market."

Seeing him in person today, he definitely didn't seem like your average Joe.

"They're such a perfect match, and their chemistry is next level!"

Oliver and Josefina: Thanks, but no thanks!

...

Josefina hopped into Oliver's car, and they headed out for dinner.

"Hey Oliver, how about we hit up a fondue spot tonight?"

"Sure thing, whatever you want."

Oliver drove them to this quaint little fondue restaurant. As they walked in, they ran into Hunter and his family.

Peter and Caiden were there, and Sandy looked like a whole new woman, no longer the worn-out soul she once was. Now she carried the grace that only time can bestow, truly embodying the essence of a woman.

Breaking free from that no-good ex had worked wonders for her!

It's true what they say: cherish life, steer clear of toxic folks.

"Josie, it's been ages!" Sandy exclaimed, hurrying over to take Josefina's hand.

Oliver shot a glance over, his expression not exactly thrilled.

Sandy was acting as if Josie was already family!

Catching the vibe from Oliver, Sandy awkwardly let go of Josefina's hand.

"Josie, you look more stunning every time I see you. You were beautiful before, but now you're absolutely glowing."

"Oh, Aunt Sandy, you're looking more gorgeous yourself," Josefina replied warmly. Sandy laughed, obviously delighted. "You always know just what to say."

Caiden chimed in, "Josie, since we bumped into each other, why not join us for dinner?"

Oliver coolly interjected, "We've already got a private booth booked."

His firm tone wasn't up for debate.

Josefina smiled, explaining, "We've reserved a spot for just the two of us, so we really should get going."

Caiden nodded, "In that case, let's plan for another time."

Peter added, "Our family's amusement park in the countryside is opening soon. Josefina, you should come by for a visit."

"Absolutely."

After exchanging a few more pleasantries, Josefina and Oliver headed to their table.

Caiden and the others watched as they walked away.

Inside their private booth.

Josefina płaced some lamb into the bubbling pot. The creamy, tender meat would be ready in në time, delicious even without any sauce.

"Dig in," Oliver encouraged, adding more lamb to the pot.

Josefina set down her chopsticks and gazed at Oliver's handsome face.

"Why the look?" Oliver asked with a grin.

"Just checking to see if you're jealous again. Oliver, I can tell you're not thrilled about eating with them."

Oliver didn't hold back. "Josie, the way Caiden looks at you, it's not exactly innocent."

Josefina teased, "Wow, I didn't realize my hubby had such a sharp eye."

That word "hubby," was music to Oliver's ears, lighting him up like

sversesso. He pulled Josefina

of

into his arms.

Josefina straddled his lap, their faces just inches apart.

The bright lights in the booth highlighted every detail of Oliver's expressions for her

to see.

His strong jawline created a flawless, smooth curve.

"Josie, say it again."

Josefina knew exactly what he wanted. Cupping his face with her hands, she looked deeply into his eyes Oliver, you're one to talk. You've got your own fan club, yet here you are, getting all jealous."

Before she could say more, Oliver captured her lips with his, sealing the moment

with a passionate kiss...
