Chapter 1093

Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess · Dana E.

As Joelle bounced across the quad, clearly eager to stir up some fresh gossip, the students passing by couldn't help but slow down, eager to catch every bit of the unfolding drama. It was like everyone wanted a front-row seat.

Noticing the growing crowd, Joelle seized the opportunity to raise her voice, aiming to tear away Josefina's mask of pretense. "Why are you the only one from all the med students who gets to start a medical club? And with the principal's personal nod, no less! There are plenty of us who could do the job just as well!"

Josefina, keeping her cool with an innocent look, replied, "Yeah, Joelle, why didn't they pick you instead?"

Mandy jumped in, "Oh, come on! Isn't it obvious? Joelle just doesn't have what it takes. Her grades aren't exactly top-notch, are they? Joelle, how do you even have the nerve to kick up a fuss like this?"

Josefina added, "For those curious, you'll get your answers on the school forum in about thirty minutes."

Her announcement had the crowd buzzing, eager to see what Josefina would spill online. Mandy was caught off guard, not realizing Josefina had a plan all along. But Josefina's confident demeanor put her at ease.

Joelle, skeptical as ever, shot back, "You're not planning to sneak away, are you?" Josefina replied sharply, "If you keep quiet, no one will mistake you for a fool."

Mandy put her hands on her hips, clearly frazzled from lack of sleep, and shouted in frustration, "Josie never lies! Who could stand having such a load of rubbish thrown at them? Joelle, you're really something, having no sense of shame!"

Joelle felt the sting of Mandy's words, her pride taking a hit.

Josefina followed up, her gaze icy and intimidating, "I'm still a student here, and I won't let anyone who stirs up trouble get away with it!"

Lydia felt a chill run down her spine and quickly lowered her eyes, worried her secrets might be exposed.

Despite her fear, Joelle tried to maintain her composure, "Let's see what you've got, Josefina. The truth can't be faked, and lies will never become the truth."

Josefina chuckled softly, "You're absolutely right, Joelle. Lies won't become the truth."

She turned her gaze to Lydia, "Isn't that right?"

Lydia kept her head down, feeling the heat of Josefina's stare and fearing her secrets might surface.

Joelle challenged, "Josefina, you better bring out that evidence. I'm itching to see what you can prove."

Josefina replied calmly, "Just you wait."

...

In the medical society's classroom, Mandy followed Josefina, her nerves on edge.

up

"Josie, what's your plan? Maybe you should flaunt your connection to the Harrison family to shut them up. Theyre questioning not just your abilities, but your background too."

"Don't worry, I'll handle it and silence them soon enough."

Josefina sat at her computer, typing furiously, her fingers flying over the keys.

Mandy took a seat, still uneasy about the situation.

"Mandy, go ahead and do your own thing. I can handle this."

Mandy leaned back in her chair, "I'IK stay here and back you up, just case anyone comes looking for trouble I can give them a piece my mind!" Content befongs

"Mandy, you're the best."

"You've been so good to me, Josie, and being related to you is a blessing. It's the least I can do! You focus on what you need to do Candif anyone comes knocking, fll be your guard dog!"

With that, Mandy pulled out her phone and sent a quick message to Dorian.
