Lena bit her lip, holding back the urge to speak. With so many eyes on her, she knew better than to say anything that might make things worse. Josefina, on the other hand, silently accused her, but Lena had no choice but to keep it all in.

Josefina had a gut feeling that Lena had something to do with the incident, but without proof, it would just be slander.

Lena forced a tight, awkward smile. "You're absolutely right, sister. I just hope Jane will be okay. After all, you saved her yourself. She's bound to recover under your care."

"She seemed to have stepped out," Annika replied.

It was already six in the evening. Dorian and Garrett were out handling company affairs, Grandpa Robert had gone to ensure Emily's safety, and Hattie was at the hospital waiting to hear that Jane was okay.

Josefina decided to take action. She got into her car and began tailing Lena.

"Keep an eye on her for me. I'm switching gear and heading over."
