Josefina pulled out her phone and quickly texted Luke, then Oliver, asking where Ruby was.

Oliver replied almost immediately, "Sent someone to drop her off at Billy's place. She should be panhandling around there by now."

Josefina chuckled, but Lauren's face tightened with worry.

What was so funny?

Before Lauren could ask, Josefina looked up with a cold expression and said, "Ruby's with Billy. They've met up and are living together now."

Lauren!!

A terrifying thought struck Lauren. Billy and Ruby together-were they conspiring to steal her money?

Panicked, Lauren began pounding on the glass, demanding, "Billy and Ruby-are they teaming up against me? Josefina, you have to tell me!"

Lauren's emotions were spiraling out of control, and the guards quickly restrained her, leading her away.

Even as she was dragged off, Lauren couldn't shake the feeling that her suspicion might be true.

Josefina, meanwhile, thought Lauren's imagination was running wild. Some people could really spin a tale!

After leaving the prison, Josefina settled into her car.

Suddenly, there was a knock on her window.

She turned and found herself looking into the face of Dominic, who bore an uncanny resemblance to Oliver.

If Oliver's face was the original, Dominic's was definitely a knockoff.

Josefina cracked the window just a bit, keeping her distance. With a polite smile, she said, "What a coincidence. You here to visit someone?"

Dominic looked embarrassed, managing a strained smile as he explained, "A buddy of mine works here. Just came by to see him."

Josefina responded with a casual "Oh," before adding, "Well, you go ahead. I'm off. Goodbye."

She rolled up the window, started the engine, and smoothly drove off, leaving Dominic to choke on her exhaust as he watched her car disappear into the distance.

Ruby never imagined her life abroad would be tougher than back home.

She got off the plane, only to have her documents and luggage snatched away. After reporting to the police, they promised to recover her betongings but couldn't guarantee when. The officers communicated with her through a translation app since she didn't

speak the local language.

She was lost in translation-unable to understand others and not being understood herself.

Ruby left the police station, tears streaming down her face. Without money, every step in this foreign land was a struggle.

As she walked, a familiar figure caught her eye.

She hadn't seen her brother since arriving, but there was Billy, looking disheveled with a scruffy beard.

Billy spotted the tearful Ruby and strode towards her, a look of excitement on his face.

Ruby, seeing a familiar face in a foreign place, was shocked and thrilled.

"Dad!"

She ran towards Billy, her heart pounding with excitement, and Billy moved to meet her.

But when they finally came face to face, Billy's hand shot out, delivering a stinging slap that left Ruby stunned.

Furious, Billy slapped her again, "You wretched woman, look at the mess you've got me into! If I hadn't taken

Dazed from the slaps, Ruby was slow to react. But once she gathered her wits and saw Billy's raging anger, she charged at him like a bull, Billy, takeyou on! Who asked you to drag me back? I never wanted to set foot in the Antonio family's doorway!"

And with that, the two erupted into a brawl.
