Chapter 804

"Oh my goodness, Josie, you're absolutely amazing! How did you ever manage to snag an autographed photo of Calix for me? You're my lucky charm, Josie, just incredible."

Haylee wrapped her arms around Josefina, lifting her off the ground and spinning her around in delight.

Joelle glanced at the autographed photo on the table, remembering seeing Josefina at the set, laughing and chatting with her boyfriend and Calix. A twinge of envy crept into her heart.

Why was it that things Joelle struggled to obtain seemed to come so easily to Josefina?

Joelle stayed silent, not wanting to witness the joy shared between Haylee and Josefina.

Though she tried to ignore it, she couldn't help overhearing Josefina speak.

"Sunshine, all these autographed photos are for you. Do whatever you want with them, share them with friends if you'd like."

Josefina knew Haylee was a die-hard fan of Calix and even had friends who adored him too.

"Josie, thank you so much."

"No problem."

Haylee approached Joelle with the photos: "Sunny, look what Josie got us - autographed photos! Pick one first; I know you've been wanting a signed photo of Calix forever."

Joelle, however, wasn't her usual excited self and remained indifferent.

"I don't want it."

Puzzled, Haylee asked, "Why not? Haven't you wanted one for so long?"

Joelle, annoyed, stood up, "I just don't want it."

With that, Joelle left the dorm room.

Haylee, shocked, remarked, "Is she really refusing them just because they're from Josie? Has she lost her mind?"

Josefina calmly picked up her bag, "If she doesn't want them, more for you."

Haylee awkwardly scratched her head, unsure of Joelle's motives.

She thought Josie was a great roommate! Why reject such a wonderful roommate? What kind of roommate did she want, then?

Josefina stepped out of the school and received a call from Orla.

"Ms. Josefina, do you have a moment? Could you please come over? We have a particularly troublesome customer in the store. None of the clothes meet here standards, and she's dissatisfied with our designs. She's even threatening to go to the media, claiming our company can't satisfy customers and calling our designers incompetent."

Josefina sighed. This had to be trouble!

"I'm on my way. Keep her happy until I get there; I want to see what she's really after."

Josefina drove over.

Meanwhile, a lavishly dressed lady entered the store. She sipped her tea, scrutinizing the manager.

"Is this all Anya's capable of? I can't find a single piece of clothing here that I like. Where are your designers? Is this the extent of their abilities? Do you even deserve to run a store? Just shut it down!"

The manager, maintaining a polite smile, responded, "Madam, our clothes are extremely popular, with orders booked a year in advance. If you're unsatisfied with our in store selection, perhaps you'd consider à custom design? Our designers can create something uniquely for you."

"What are you implying? Are you mocking me for not being able to afford it? Bring out your designer. have plenty of money; what design can't afford? Don't stand there and lecture me. Where's the person in charge? want to have a word them. Is this how you treat your customers?"

The manager tried to soothe the customer, "Madam, I meant no offense. I merely suggested that a custom design would suit you best; anything you desire can be made."

The woman, infuriated, pushed the manager, "Is this your idea of customer service? Do you think I won't slap you?"
