Chapter 825

Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess · Dana E.

Oliver couldn't help but focus on Josefina wherever he looked.

Catching Josefina's bright eyes, he shot her a playful grin. "So, why do you think I love being around you?"

"It's definitely because when we're together, I sleep like a baby!" Josefina teased back.

Oliver's face lit up with a smile as he gently pinched her cheek. "With witty lines like that, you could pen a bestseller."

Josefina playfully swatted his hand away. "Admit it, you're addicted to our cozy nights, and the sleep you get is unbeatable."

Pulling her into a warm embrace, Oliver's eyes sparkled with affection. "Whatever you say, Josie, is my truth."

Josefina pushed him away gently, a hint of shyness in her voice. "Oliver, sneaking into my room? Aren't you worried my folks might catch you?"

"I'll be stealthy," Oliver assured. "Getting caught would mean being banished from seeing you."

Josefina hesitated. "Maybe you should hold off. Dorian's scheduled a security check tomorrow to ensure the cameras are working perfectly."

Oliver fell silent, pondering. Was Dorian intentionally blocking him?

He hugged Josefina tighter, not wanting to dwell on it any longer.

Shay, who had been confined to a wheelchair, slowly stood up.

Once steady, Shay took a step, joy lighting up his face. "I can stand! I can walk again! This is incredible! Thank you, Coach!"

Sydney stood nearby, equally ecstatic. "Ms. Jane, thank you so much."

The elderly lady, her hair silver but her spirit lively, had eyes that seemed to pierce through life's mysteries.

"Shay, no need for thanks. As my student, helping you is my honor," Jane said, her tone then shifting to one of sternness

out Shay you've

let me down, tarnishing my reputation over such a mino setback."

Shay looked anxious. "Coach, it was Josefina's sneak attack. I was caught off guard."

Sydney chimed in to defend him. "Ms. Jane, it was Josefina's crafty moves that caught him off guard. Shea's a good soul, straightforward and honest, which made him vulnerable."

Jane's face darkened, but a cold smile crept in. "Tomorrow, I'll make time to meet

this Josefina. I'm curious if she's as formidable as you claim."

Sydney and Shay exchanged a hopeful glance.

With Jane stepping in, Josefina wouldn't stand a chance!

Grateful for Jane's involvement, they felt relieved.

Sydney, ever thoughtful, mentioned, "Ms. Jane, I've booked you the Presidential Suite and arranged for driver and a housekeeper. Just ask, and they'll take care of anything you need."

Jane nodded in acknowledgment.

Sydney handed her a card. "This is a small token of our gratitude. Your presence in Westwood means everything to us. The PIN is your birthday."

Flattered by the gesture, Jane accepted the card.

"Lynn, we've been friends for years. Your problems are mine to tackle, and I'm here for you."

"Thank you, Ms. Jane. You have the heart of a saint," Sydney praised.

After showering Jane with appreciation, Sydney and Shay saw her off, feeling much lighter at heart.
