When Josefina rolled up with a car full of jewelry, Grandpa Robert and Emily were absolutely floored.

Grandpa Robert, both surprised and doting, chimed in, "Josie, you've really gone all out on these jewels. Good for you, learning to enjoy spending. That's the spirit! And if you ever run low, Grandpa's got your back."

Emily joined in, "Josie, keep shopping like this, and Grandma will back you up too." Josefina was stuck between laughter and tears, feeling incredibly blessed.

"Thank you, Grandpa, thank you, Grandma. But I didn't buy these; they're gifts from Kania."

Once Josefina explained the whole story, Grandpa Robert and Emily had a lightbulb moment. They had caught the news about Mrs. Rong's close brush with death.

"A happy family is the best treasure. Better to have a nice roast pork than a son who's such a disgrace," Emily said, clearly indignant.

Grandpa Robert and Emily could relate, having dealt with their own troublesome granddaughter, Lena, in the past.

"Grandpa, Grandma, I'll have someone move these into my room, then I'll come check on you."

"Josie, we'll be here in the living room waiting for you."

Josefina got the staff to move the items while she took inventory. Kania had sent so many gifts that Josefina wanted to keep track for when she could return the favor.

Just then, a servant approached Josefina.

"Ms. Josefina, the room's full. We'll need another space for the rest of the gifts. Which room should we use?"

Josefina was astonished.

One room wasn't enough for all the gifts; she had quite the collection.

She directed the servants to clear another room for the gifts and kept on with her inventory.

After a bit, Josefina joined her grandparents in the living room to check on their health. Their condition was stable, thanks to their daily exercise routine.

"Grandpa, Grandma, you can hold off on the medicine. Your health is great, just keep up with the exercises."

Emily beamed with joy, clearly delighted.

"Josie, my dear granddaughter, thank you."

“Grandma, no need to thank me. You're my grandma, and this is what I'm supposed

to do," Josefina said, her smile as bright as a sunflower. Grandpa Robert was reminded of Emily's youthful smile and felt even more affection for Josefina.

After a bit of chatting, Josefina heard Reid had taken some
