Chapter 1007
Juniper doesn't lower her voice. Several students walking by stop to watch the drama unfold.
"Isn't that Sheryl Yardley? The girl who just got back from an exchange program abroad?"
"Yeah. I heard a few weeks ago she went to the Schwartz estate for the holidays and gave them fake gifts. It was a massive scandal."
Eclara University has its fair share of students from ordinary backgrounds. Gossip about the ultra-rich spreads like wildfire.
"I heard she tried to claim she was childhood friends with Mr. Schwartz, but he literally had no idea who she was!"
"Hahaha, her family is pretty wealthy too. Why would she do something so embarrassing?"
"Wealthy? They aren't Schwartz-level wealthy. Everyone wants to climb the ladder."
"Well, our Goddess definitely doesn't care," a guy chimes in out of nowhere. "I literally just saw Mr. Schwartz drop her off at the gate."
"When she got out of the car, he said something to her, and she got so mad she hit him with her backpack."
"What???" The crowd gasps, instantly hungry for the details. "In all of Borealia, who would dare lay a hand on Mr. Schwartz?"
"And he got hit but was smiling the whole time! He looked like he enjoyed it!" Everyone: "???"
Mr. Schwartz looks so terrifying and unapproachable in public, but behind closed doors... he's entirely whipped?
"She clearly knows he's engaged, yet she still tries to throw herself at him. Tsk, tsk. Terrible upbringing."
Hearing the whispers, the crowd stares at Sheryl with blatant contempt and mockery.
"That's completely made up! I never-" Sheryl has never been this humiliated in her life. Her face darkens with rage as she clenches her fists, gritting her teeth to defend herself.
"Did you need something?" Juniper's expression remains completely flat, her patience wearing thin "If you
say it. If not, get out of my way."
She doesn't care if her name is Sheryl or Shirley. She has zero positive impressions
of her and zero intention of being polite.
"Just ran into you and thought I'd say hi." Sheryl forces a smile, her posture arrogant, like a peacock looking down on the world. "What happened last time was just a k misunderstanding Juniper let

friends, shall we?"
Her words sound like an apology, but her tone is incredibly condescending, her gaze reeking of entitlement.
"?" Juniper simply looks at her, a massive question mark practically hovering over her head. "Are you okay?"
"Excuse me?" Sheryl blinks, taken aback.
"Friends?" Juniper scoffs, her voice freezing over. "You better be joking. You don't have the qualifications to be my friend."
Dropping that brutal truth, Juniper walks right past Sheryl, not even sparing her a glance. The disdain is palpable.
Someone in the crowd snorts, trying to stifle a laugh while whispering a snarky
comment.
Sheryl glares viciously at Juniper's retreating back before angrily storming off toward the medical school building.
That little bitch. How dare she humiliate her in public? They're on the same campus now. She's definitely going to teach her a lesson.
...
A short distance away, Yolanda Sherwin watches the entire scene, a sly smile creeping onto her lips.
Sheryl Yardley, a senior in the clinical medicine program, just returned from studying abroad. More importantly her family is incredibly powerful and several members of the university's board of directors are her relatives.
And Sheryl herself was famous for holding grudges.
“Juniper has severely pissed her off. It looks like my dear sister's easy days are
officially over."
