Chapter 1047

Don't Mess with the Girl with Candy · NovelDrama.Org

She had been beautiful, effortlessly cool, and completely badass. The girl sitting in front of her now had long, flowing hair, delicate features, and a flawless, radiant complexion. She looked like an absolute goddess. Compared to her memories of Miss Seven, she looked similar, yet entirely different. Michelle felt like she was hallucinating. Was she having a mental breakdown?

"What's wrong?" Seeing Michelle looking like her soul had just left her body, Sheryl asked worriedly. "Did Miss Seven reply? Where is she?"

Michelle didn't answer Sheryl. Instead, she lifted her phone with trembling hands and typed out a few more words: 'I turned around. Where are you?'

Juniper's lips curled into a smirk. She uncrossed her legs, stood up, and casually turned her phone screen toward them. She drawled, "What? Has your eyesight gotten that bad after a few years?"

Clatter―

At Juniper's words, the phone slipped from Michelle's grasp and slammed onto the floor. She stood completely paralyzed, her mind going blank. What was happening? The girl standing right in front of her was actually Miss Seven? Her transformation was unbelievable.

"You... you're..." Michelle's lips trembled as she stuttered.

"Miss Seven," Juniper raised an eyebrow, her tone entirely detached. "It's been a long time, Mimi. Or rather, I suppose I should be calling you Ms. Michelle now."

The name 'Mimi' violently yanked Michelle back to reality. She was now absolutely certain that the impossibly young girl standing before her was the very 'Teacher' who had trained her all those years ago and helped her win countless trophies. So... what had she just done?

"T-Teacher!" Michelle stepped forward. The arrogant, high-and-mighty woman from just moments ago had now lowered herself entirely, her tone incredibly respectful. "I didn't know it was you. I was out of line earlier and said some stupid things. Please, I hope you won't take offense."

"Teacher?!" Seeing Michelle's

reaction, Sheryl seriously doubted her own hearing. She looked at Michelle, then at Juniper. Her brain felt like it was going to explode What on earth was happening? How could Juniper be this international tennis master's mentor? She was only nineteen! Which meant she had become Michelle's coach before she was even legally an adult? This was too insane!

Lionel's eyes widened in utter disbelief, his shock completely mirroring Sheryl's. What? What?! Juniper was Michelle's teacher?! The sky was literally falling. Just how many secret identities did this girl have? It seemed like every time she shed one layer, there was always another hiding underneath. He needed to calm down. He seriously needed a moment.

Hattie stood rigid behind Juniper, as stiff as a stone statue. Only one sentence echoed through her mind. Juniper is Michelle's teacher. No wonder she was so terrifyingly good at tennis. Hattie seriously suspected that when she asked Juniper if she knew how to play and Juniper said "a little," she actually meant "a billion times better than anyone else So this was the good show Juniper had promised! Oh man. This was thrilling. She couldn't wait to watch the ultimate smackdown.

"You must have mistaken her for someone else, right?" Sheryl finally snapped out of it, rushing to Michelle's side and desperately tugging on her arm. "Miss Seven definitely hasn't arrived yet, right?" If Juniper was actually Miss Seven, then she was completely ruined!

"Sheryl." Michelle turned her head stiffly, her throat dry as she forced the words out. "I didn't make a mistake. She really is my tennis coach, Miss Seven."

"Well, aren't you going to say hello, my good grand-student?" Juniper crossed her arms over her chest, staring at Sheryl with a half-smile.
