Chapter 956

"Just now?" Noticing Coralie's rabbit-red eyes, Juniper couldn't resist the urge to tease her. "What did I say?"

"When you walked in..." Coralie shifted nervously on her feet, her voice frantic but delicate. "You called me..."

She was too afraid to say the word "sister," terrified that Juniper might reject her.

"I heard Shanley kidnapped you," Juniper said, her tone cool and collected. "It was a massive misunderstanding, and I apologize on his behalf."

"Oh?" Coralie blinked rapidly, her long lashes fluttering as guilt flashed across her face. Was Juniper being so distant because of Shanley?

Coralie didn't want to let him off the hook so easily, but if her sister loved him... she could swallow her pride.

"It's fine," Coralie forced a bitter smile. "I forgive him."

Since she forgave him, Juniper wouldn't be mad at her anymore, right?

"I appreciate that," Juniper said slowly. "But..."

"But what?" Coralie's heart leaped into her throat.

"You might have forgiven him, but I haven't." Juniper stepped forward, gently taking Coralie's cold hands in hers. "Who told him he could bully my sister?"

"S-Sister?" Hearing the word again, Coralie's eyes brimmed with fresh tears. Her excitement was impossible to contain. "Juniper, did you just call me your sister?"

"I did," Juniper whispered, her own eyes growing misty. "Well? Aren't you going to hug me?"

"Of course I am!" Coralie burst into tears, throwing her arms around Juniper and holding her tight. "I'm never cursing the heavens again! I'm going to get down on my knees and thank God for bringing you back to me!"

Juniper nearly laughed through her tears. "It's not just me. You have a lot more family waiting for you."

"What?" Coralie pulled back, her eyes wide with shock.

The events in Borealia hadn't reached Caelus. Furthermore, when Coralie had investigated Juniper, all the recent news about her had been scrubbed from the internet. She had no idea the rest of the siblings had already reunited.

"You mean... we found them?" Coralie asked, her voice trembling.

"Yes." Juniper smiled softly, her thumb brushing over Coralie's hand. "Everyone except Mom and Dad. All of them."

"All of them?" Coralie's lips quivered. "You mean all seven of us?"

"Yes," Juniper nodded. "I'm taking you to see them right now." "Okay," Coralie choked out, gripping Juniper's hand like a lifeline.

Outside the house, Shanley stood by the wall, his hands buried in his coat pockets. His dark eyes were fixed on

the two women through the window

He couldn't hear what they were saying, but he saw the holding of hands and the emotional embrace.

His girl was happy. Her sister was happy.

Shanley pressed his lips together, his heart sinking slightly. Why did he have to do something so incredibly stupid? Had Juniper even put in good word for him?

"Boss-" Flint crept up nervously.

"Take your big mouth and get out of my sight," Shanley snapped.

If Flint hadn't blabbed, Shanley could have easily spun a lie about organizing a

surprise reunion to bring Coralie here.

Flint ducked his head and practically sprinted away.

As he left, Shanley turned his head and locked eyes with Coralie's boy toy.
