“I’ll show you later, now let’s go visit Grandpa,” Jonathan said.

“Grandpa is probably sleeping again; let’s visit him when the sun’s up. I’ll take you to rest for a bit.”

“To your room?”

“So you’ve been to my room

already?” Estelle glanced at him and said, “And you have the nerve to ask me about it!”

Jonathan laughed, saying, “Yeah, when you’re not around, I sleep in your room.”

Estelle knew it would be something like this. With a faint smile on her lips and her eyes shimmering, sh

e grabbed his wrist and led him towards her room.

Jonathan followed her; at this moment, his eyes and heart were all on her.

Back in the room, Estelle first walked over to the bedside cabinet, opened the bottom drawer, and took

out two large envelopes, both of which were property deeds with her name on them.

One was for Villa del Sol, the other for another villa.

Estelle looked at him and said, “Why are you giving me so many houses?”

Jonathan walked over, kissed

her cheek softly, his eyes full of love, and said, “Don’t you love houses? Then I’ll give them all to you!”

Estelle remembered that when they first started dating, he thought–she–

was intentionally getting close to him and asked her what

she wanted, and she said a house. Even though she explained it later, he still remembered

it, never forgetting.

Estelle put the property deeds back in the drawer, smiling, “I’ll take these as wedding gifts then!”

Jonathan’s gaze deepened. “You sure know how to say thanks.”

Estelle laughed, went to her wardrobe to get

her pajamas, and said, “Sit for a bit; I’m going to take a shower.”

“I want to shower too.” Jonathan followed her.

“There are no pajamas for you here.” Before Estelle could finish, she saw Jonathan take out a men’s dr

essing gown from the wardrobe.

Estelle sighed lightly, turning to look at Jonathan. “So, how much stuff have you hidden in my room?”

“A lot, you’ll find out eventually.” Jonathan chuckled, picked her up, and walked towards the bathroom.

After a day of emotional ups and downs, coupled with Estelle not sleeping all

night, Jonathan didn’t do anything else; he just helped her

take a bath and then carried her back to bed.

By the time they were in bed, it was almost six in the morning.

Jonathan held her tightly, thinking back

to when he returned to Bright Commercial Center last night and saw her stuff was gone, it felt like a ba

d dream.

And now, the two of them were in C City; she was in his arms; it felt like another unreal dream.

He couldn’t help but hold her tighter, smelling her faint scent. Even though he hadn’t slept all

night, he didn’t feel sleepy at all, fearing that when he woke up, she would be gone.

“Ella,” he called her softly, constantly kissing her.

Estelle responded to him with her eyes closed until she felt his body getting

hotter and had to push him away. “Jonathan, aren’t you tired?”

“Not tired!” Jonathan kissed her cheek, his voice low and sexy: “I want you.”

Estelle grabbed his hand, breathing deeply. “Jonathan, I’m not in the mood for that right now; can you

wait?”

When Jonathan thought about Mr. Jarvis’s condition, it felt like being doused in cold water.

He immediately stopped and hugged her, saying, “Once I touch you, I can’t control my desires. I’m sorr

y.”
